"Greetings, my lords.
I've a peaceful drow (yes, it's hard to believe) from the Surface, and a follower of Eilistraee. Mainly adventurer, my other goal in life is the gathering of informations about the Forgotten Realms. I traveled during a long time before arriving here, in this heaven of knowledge.I hope you will be able to help me in this task, powerful loremasters. In any case, I'm happy to have found the most interesting place to my eyes in Faerūn"

Ave Solaufein.
What's the thing with rogue drows and Illistrae, by the way?
Anyway, if you seek knowledge, this is not the worst place to be.

"Here, Here" yells TDM, picking up the mug of Ale Rad just past accross the table and proceeding to drink it

TDM thinks of snatching the Ale back from Alaundo but decides not to as Alaudo is a mod.
He simply replies, "I'm glad you're enjoying it" with perhaps over sarcastic emphasis on the word 'glad'

Soulafein! Welcome to Candlekeep, friend. *snatches the Ale from Alaundo and finds a window to dump it out of* No more of that for you! Don't you have plenty of work to keep you occupied? Do you need more, Hmmmmm...? |

Hey! That's a waste of good drink... if Alaundo can't have it, there's more who would like a sip.
ps. Solaufein, don't get discouraged by some loose rambling once in a while. Us scribes sometimes are not as focussed as might be expected. |

Like you need any more ale addling your already frayed wits, mellonamin. Besides, this library is well run, and none of you should be drinking in here! This isn't a tavern, ya' know! |

Yeah Aluando, you have some good booze down there, and some interesting magazines |
My name is Tiax, I would ask yours but I don't care to become aquainted with the dead.

From the shawowy side of the room a young woman steps forward. "Welcome, Solaufein" she says, "don't let those wise and loud men frighten you, they're nicer than they look. Here, have a biscuit! must be hungry from your quest, ey?" She offers the newcommer a few biscuits combined with a friendly smile. |

Actually I'm a lot nastier than I look, but I'm too insignificant to matter . Hang on a minute, you said 'wise' old men so I suppose that doesn't include me after all

Hail and well met, drow! Though it seems you have beat me to this place I would like to welcome you none the less. I do hope you enjoy this place as much as I undoubtedly will in my time here. Live long and prosper. |
