Which of the elemental Plane-touched characters would you use in a campaign??? Just curious. I prefer the Air-Genasi, It seems to be the best choice out of the bunch, being breathless, no having to breat is a big bonus. Also levitate is a good bonus as well.

I like the air genasi, but I also dig the water genasi. Something about being able to breath water is just exceedingly appealing to me.

I use Fire genasi, mostly.

It is just good for a nice relatively faceless sorcerer blaster type, with no spellbook to capture.

Genasi just seem to turn up as sorcerers in my games, except the water ones, they are usually sea druids and sign on to vessels for whatever pay they demand.

As fo a character, I would find it a lot of fun to play an air one. Being able to breathe water is nice, but not breathing at all is better, especially since you get the nifty keen abilities with no limit on use. I just love the image of a mage, getting furious in combat until his robes are whipping about like crazy with each spell he casts. Underground, with no wind.

If I was to use an elemental Genasi against my PC's it would be Fire, Imagne entering a tower only to find a person standing at the top of some stairs with hair that looks like it is on fire and eyes that have a flame dancing in them, then have him unleash a barrage of Fire destruction spells at you before you know what is happing

Air Genasi is the only one I've ever played as a PC, but I think I like air and water genasi equally (actually, possibly water genasi a bit more). I always choose water/air over earth/fire in the elements, but I don;t mind fire. It is boring, sturdy earth that I find most boring!

This is a very subjective question. It really depends upon which campaign environment your plane-touched PC will be adventuring in. Obviously there are some planar environments where levitation is likely to have little effect, such as the deeper regions of the Elemental Plane of Earth. The Elemental Plane of Fire presents it's own unique hazards for the Air Genasi, as does some campaign worlds like some of the underground domains in Ravenloft.

I don't have a favored plane-touched. My choices rest solely on the type of setting I will be gaming in.
