I currently have a player who is going to use an Air Genasi wizard in my campaign. I have a couple of question on how to use these characters correctly. I know they are considered an "outsider" and I have looked in the core books for rules on an outsider but it is hard to come by. In the MM it give a brief description in the Demon entry. Does anybody know where I can get more info on an outsider type. Also with the breathless abiity are there any spell they are immune to because of it that an outsider is not?? And lastly does anybody now a web site that would have good pictures of planetouched characters

Portrait of all Planetouched races in the Realms: click here.

Description of the Outsider type: click here.

As for Breathless, quoting from the FRCS: "Air genasi do not breathe, so they are immune to drowning, suffocation, and attacks that require inhalation (such as some types of poison)." Add to this Cloudkill, Stinking Cloud, etc. (basically, any cloud that does not deal energy damage; an acid fog or inciendary cloud would still deal damage to them)

There was also a recent scroll where another scribe asked the Outsider question. You may find some tidbits there that aren't spelled out in the official version.

Jarren, I have access to some pretty extensive material on all of the plane-touched, so if you ever have any more questions, just ask . . .
