Okay, my ideas on this are going all over the place, and I'm going to enlist the scribes of Candlekeep to help me sort them out. As some of you may remember, I've been working on this prestige class(I have my reasons for wanting to do this.) for awhile, and so far I have a collection of class abilities but no true progression.
Concept: Grovewardens of Eldath are pacifists and naturalists, protectors of a single grove, whether it be deep in the High Forest, or on the edge of the Shaar. They are serene, and often seem to be little more than ethereal spirits moving amongst the bows of the trees. They do not care for more past the simplest accoutrements, and are most content when listening and seeing nature's growth around them, above them, and below them.
Now, the next part of this are ideas for various parts of the class:
Requirements: Ability to cast 4th level divine spells, must venerate Eldath. I'd also like to see the Sacred Vow, Vow of Peace, and Vow of Nonviolence feats see some use, and Artalis' Natural Empath feat get some time in the sun.
Stats: BAB: None(it fits quite well with the pacifist theme.) Good save: Will.
Class Abilities: This is really where I need help-I'm all over the place here.
Grove Sanctum-The grovewarden chooses a specific grove of trees to protect, and gains benefits when within that grove.
Prestige Domain: Peace-I'll post this later.
Eldath's touch-A grovewarden may touch a combatant to cast emotion: friendship on them.
These are all rough ideas. Any thoughts, comments, possible class progressions?

I love Eldath's clergy, and am constantly making iconic NPCs that follow her... for no apparant reason!
There was another attempt at an Eldath cleric/druid PrC on the WotC boards, but it didn't turn out amazingly. I'll sugggest what I suggested to him:
-Eldath, as goddess of waterfalls, should grant her speciality priests some kind of special relationship with Fossergrim (Fiend Folio neutral male Fey that are tied to waterfalls in the same way dryads are tied to trees/forests) - as a contrast to Mielikki (her sister)'s clergy.
-General bonuses (Diplomacy, Gather Info etc.) when speaking to woodland creatures and fey.
-Some specialising with nets (Eldath's favored weapons) to make their use more reasonable.
-Other nonlethal combat bonuses, or giving option of damage being nonlethal (particularly in relation to spells - as spells will be an Eldathyn's main weapon)
-An aura of pacifiism or something similar
Hope that helps and good luck with the PrC |

I like your general concept very much Arivia, it has potential.
The 'Grove Sanctum' ability reminds me alot of the 'Arcane Sanctum' class feature from my Master of the Sorcerous Arts PrC that a friend and I worked on in order to create a "Dr. Strange, Sorceror Supreme" -type character for a campaign setting once.
The principle behind the ability is essentially the same, with the Sorceror having a specifically assigned arcane sanctum area to protect (which was usually his home base, although the prevalence of magical nodes on this world later forced a change in this ability). I can look through the stats for this ability if you want. Maybe I can come up with something that can work for your own ability.
I also have an idea for the 'Eldath's touch' feature, but I want to do some research first to ensure that I'm not posting any ideas that have already been covered before in a third-party product.

Have you looked at the Eldath specialty priest in Faiths & Avatars for inspiration? |

I took a quick glance at my copy of Faiths & Avatars earlier this day, and the one on that link looks like it's the same thing. I shall have to peruse that site some more, when I'm not at work. |
