Does anyone have a record of the waterdeep weather off the wizards forgotten realms page?

There's a friend of mine from the WotC Message Boards (he no longer visits there [some would say obvious reasons]) that once collected the weather readouts into a Excel spreadsheet. He's dropped of the net since the WotC Novels 'incident' though. I'll try and contact him to see if he can send me a copy.

Hmm. I never considered that as a consistant pattern. I always thought of it as something rather silly, putting that up on the site. I couldn't think that DMs would be logging on before each and every Waterdeep session to get the weather report for a new in-game day . . .

Quite. Might as well just make a decision if you need to set a particular mood using the weather, or just roll from a table!

IIRC, the Waterdeep weather used at WotC is taken from weather data recorded for Seattle.

By the way, Sage, perhaps you should suggest to that friend to come knocking on our gates instead. I'm sure any friend of yours won't be bringing any of that unwanted chaos with him . . . .

I'd not heard that before, but it doesn't surprise me...

Seattle gets 200+ days of rain a year. Hadn't pictured it raining that often in Waterdeep. Makes sense with it being a northern coastal town I guess. Of course the alternative would be lots of fog, so....

I already have . He's still a "lurker" though... I have asked him to register repeatedly, but he's convinced of finding that some unwanted chaos here as well, eventually.
