Yo.

Would any of you fellows happen to know which pre-4th Edition D&D supplement features the best overall map of Neverwinter and its surrounding lands (including Neverwinter Wood)?

Earth names in the Realms are more common than you may think.

There is none from the sourcebooks, as far as I'm aware, so, you may have to check the old videogames? I remember there was a tweet by Ed Greenwood explaining why there were no maps before the one from 4e, but I'm unable to find it (Twitter needs to make their search engine more friendly...).

Anyways, I know about a fan map that extrapolates from the 4e map to try to create a pre-4e one. If you don't mind it being fanmade, I can provide it to you.

Instead of seeking change, you prefer a void, merciless abyss of a world...

Because Neverwinter had a computer game set in it, Ed was never able to publish a map for it. I suspect his version differed from the one currently in print.

Also in-universe, Lord Nasher forbade maps of the city being made so that invaders wouldn't be able to navigate its streets IIRC.

Huh. I thought I was turning up snake eyes due to a lack of diligence and/or being plumb out of luck. There's an actual reason as to why there are no maps of the city? Wow!
