Well met! i am searching for information on Tethyr's dwarf clans, specificly the Dwarf Clans that where active in the region and Surnames of dwarfs that are cannon lore, i have read the Land of intrigue box so far and it was really good read. I found these so far, Clan Ghalmrin Clan Axemarch
On surnames i found a dwarven smith named Axeson. Do the dwarves use clan name as Surnames? Also was wondering if anyone else knows of any clans in the Tethyr Area 1350+-to the current year forgotten realms is set?

It's not specific to Tethyr, but I think you'll want to get FR11 Dwarves Deep, a book about the dwarves of the Realms, authored by Ed Greenwood himself.
For print copies, I myself generally do eBay, but others swear by NobleKnight.com. The quicker and likely cheaper route would be pdf; DriveThruRPG has it here for just $4.99 (USD).
Dwarves Deep has a lot of lore on dwarves, and includes a list of clan names.
And yes, dwarves do tend to use clan names as surnames, though these aren't always shared with non-dwarves. |

Have a look at the 2E adventure "Wyrmskull Throne" if you can find a copy. Has quite a bit of dwarf lore for the southern lands.

That's another one that DriveThruRPG has for $4.99 (USD). |

A related question is "dwarves from where?" Mostly from Deep Shanatar, presumably.
Xothaerin? It was under Western Amn. Then most remnants of the azer-blooded clans are likely to be somewhere nearby. And maybe somewhat angry, seeing how retaking the territory of their fathers became less feasible thanks to the tlincallis. |

| I mapped out a lot of the original clans of Deep Shanatar in Drizzt Do'Urden's Guide to the Underdark. Some of them are on the surface in Amn and Tethyr now. |

I believe Gold Dwarves where active in the south Tbeholder.
Thanks Eric. ill see if i can get a copy out of it somewhere. I like the work you all did in second edition era.
I think i am gonna stick with the Ghalkin or Ghalmrin Clan since it is the most common Clans i have read from all the works so far, I am not sure if they where active in 4th edition Era although, i dont find anything contradict this.
Going abit off topic now. Do anyone by any chance knows if there are any place to find the old Forgotten Realms Novel pockets? I had a bunch of them back in the days but most of the ones i did not have in my shelf has dissapeared now. Most of the shops i visited dont have any books left either, Where they all recalled during 5th edition? |

WotC stopped publishing novels, for reasons they've never stated. |
