Greetings to you all .
Some of you may have noticed an absence of both myself and the Lady Kazandra over the last two days -- there's a reason for that.
Late Saturday night (1st May), while the Lady and I were visiting our favorite haunts in the city, an unfortunate accident occured that had moderately serious consequences for the Lady Kazandra. I don't really want to go into the particulars at the moment, mainly because my time here is limited. I will simply say that while her injuries are a concern for the doctors, they are not considered life-threating and we have been told that she will make a full recovery.
Needless to say, my time here is a luxury that I cannot afford at this present time, so my visits here may again drop off over the next few days. I do intend to pop in every now and then in order to answer what I can, but I won't be checking in regularly.
So, I must ask you all to be patient, for the Lady Kazandra is my one concern at the moment and she takes priority over all else. I would also ask you to please take the time to think positive thoughts for our Lady and wish for a speedy recovery.
I'll talk to you all again very soon...

Sage and Lady K,
My sincere prayers and thanks will be with the powers above over the next while. Prayers for a speedy and peaceful recovery, and thanks that unlike so many, Lady K will recover.
I hope and pray that you will both recover fully from the misfortune physically and in other ways. I know that at least you will have each other, and sometimes, the right company can be the best medicine to heal a broken body and an injured soul.
God bless both of you, here's praying for a speedy recovery.
P.S.
Please keep up appraised of Lady K's condition (unless you dont want to which is of course your choice) as there is at least one person here who will sleep better knowing you are both well and recovering speedily.

I'm glad that she is ok. She will be sorely missed during her absence and hopefully quick recovery. Go and be with her as much as you can, she needs you much more than we do. I will be praying for her. |

I do hope her recovery is swift. Once you get back on, would you care to share what foulness occurred? *Did it involve horseless carriages?* |

Indeed, this is sad news. May Lady Kazandra make a full recovery and be back with us here at Candlekeep soon enough. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I have just completed a prayer asking the Lord to speed Lady K's recovery. I believe that she'll make an awesome recovery. Tell her to believe in this and let herself be healed by the incoming surges of divine attention, as I am not the only one who has and who will pray for her. |

Well met
Please relay my best wishes to Lady Kazandra, if you will, Sage.
May I, on behalf of all Head Scribes of Candlekeep, and indeed on behalf of all at the library, wish Lady Kazandra a very speedy recovery. Our thoughts are with you both.
I sincerely hope to see you both back here soon. |

There's certainly no reason to expect you to spend much time here at all. Some here may remember my own "little" emergency with a loved one, and so I basically only have this to say: at least you can actually do something, even if that's only holding her hand.
Let her know that we're all looking out for her. |

Admittedly I have not gotten to know either of you very well as of yet (something which I hope to remedy in future), but all the same my most heartfelt blessings and wishes go out to you both, for Lady K's speedy recovery and peace of mind for the two of you, for I'm sure whatever the event, it has caused stress and emotional turmoils as well as physical ones. |

Now, bearing that in mind, will you wipe that ridiculous look of incredulity from your face, or must the keen edge of my blade do it for you?"

Thank you all for the kind messages of hope, and also for your prayers. Although I've never been particularly religious, I do respect the nature of faith and it's ability to bring out in the best in the community as a whole. The Lady Kazandra has asked me to also pass along her heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the solid display of spirit shown here today. She ask me to relay this message:
"Let it be known that the community of Candlekeep is not solely about Realmslore...It's also about friendship, spirit, and happiness."
I've spent most of the day at the hospital, even going so far as to re-schedule classes in an effort to be at the bedside of the Lady Kazandra. The doctors have said that her condition has improved greatly since early Sunday morning and that, aside from some minor surgery to her left leg, she should be fit for release within several days (this includes the time necessary for the doctor to monitor her recovery through this period). This may change once the results of her surgery are released, so I am hoping that all goes well.
I'll talk to you all again, very soon .

Lady Kazandra hit right on what my thoughts have been lately. To many of us this is a 'home away from home' almost another kind of family. Thank you for keeping us informed Sage. If only our prayers could heal instantly like the clerics of the games we play I have a feeling that our prayers are working their own subtle magic anyways Both of you take care and take time to heal fully. |

It is always saddening to hear accidents befalling others, even strangers. I am happy to see that the lady K, is doing better. It's moments like these that make me greatful for who and what I have.
Pass along my hope for a speedy recovery! |
Live spelled backwards is evil. Doesn't that mean that there is a measure of evil in everyone? Perhaps it was the god's hidden joke, but why are you scoffing that I admit I'm evil? At least I'm not slaughtering innocents and saying it's good and right. No matter how you look at it, it's still murder and therefore evil. Deep down, you are no better than I am. The only difference is that I may lie to others, but not to myself! ~Xull'rae Zauviir |

Sage, I'm terribly sorry to hear about the misfortune, and I hope that you are both coping with the situation as best as you can. My prayers are with you both, and I hope that the Lady K makes a speedy and full recovery. We'll miss your presence here, but will muddle on as best we can. |

I, too, would like to add my good wishes for a full and speedy recovery for Lady K, and relief and a return to full happiness for The Sage. And Ed adds this:
May whatever gods there be see you healed, Lady Kazandra. And please come back to the friendly family at Candlekeep as soon as you can, both of you. Your contributions are missed.
One of my players once bullied another player out of hospital and into recovery (broken legs and pelvis, metal pins and all) by recording a tape of my stories and poems and replacing all of his Walkman tapes with it -- but I trust such drastic measures won't be needed in this case. :}
Oh, I remember that!!! That sex scene, read aloud over top of Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries! Ahem. I guess you had to hear it...especially the puzzled way in which all the naughty details were read aloud, as if by a naive curate who'd never encountered the words before, and didn't know what they meant... Sorry. I'll go now. Get better, Lady K. THO |

*sigh* I'm always the last to find out these things. A speedy recovery to the Lady Kazandra. We scribes are combing through the library for some healing elixir recipes and have sent a missive to the House of the Broken God in Keltar. All will be well in time. Fear not.
