Thanks to Eric and George and other board members Ive managed to get the races for all the cities on the DGTU map (There where quite a few cities that didnt recieve write ups in the book)
Many of these cities do not appear on the map in the 3ed Underdark source book.
Ive just discovered I have the Faerun map in digital format (its broken up into 6-8 300K images
Now what Im thinking of doing is merging the Underdark map (the cities only Im not going to put the regions) and the cities from the DGTU onto the FRC surface map
Now heres where I need a little help
I was thinking of providing a city symbol for each race ie instead of a black circle or black square each race would have its own location symbol for example all Drow cities would have a little black spider representing the cities location on the map, a Shield Dwarf city would have a shield a Deep Gnome city would have a pick etc
Now I cant draw worth a damn so I was wondering if anyone out there (who can draw) would be willing to draw these icons (they'd only be really small)
Any takers?

Well I would love to assist you, but my artistic ability - while decent - is nothing compared to the magic worked by the Lady Kazandra. I think she'll be visiting Candlekeep today. I'll let her know about your proposal Dargoth.

I'd love to help Dargoth, but my artistic skills are sorely lacking. This is a great idea, and I'd love to see how it turns out. Please let me know if I can help with anything.
A possible suggestion would be to insert the icons onto the FR Interactive Atlas using Campaign Cartographer. I have both programs so I can edit the maps in the FRIA. |

No, you are correct. They are strictly 2nd edition maps and haven't been squeezed together for the 3rd ed. changes. Still, there's not that much difference, IMO. |

I think Ill use the jpegs of the 3ed maps, after all not everyone has the FR atlas and the maps are out of date |

Lady K. couldn't make it yesterday Dargoth, but she told me to inform you of her interest in this little project.
If you would like to contact her via ethereal mail, her address is - ladyofthemists@dragonlance.zzn.com
Just tell her what you're looking for with this idea of yours, and she'll take it from there.
