I have read a few of the scrolls and im searching for some that have eluded my grasp.
Among the scrolls i have read are some detailing the exploits of a renegade dark elf
and some detailing some scoundrels and an alabaster staff |

I've read a large majority of the novels, but not all of them. I've not read any recent novels, though I did just pick up Windwalker and The Rage. I'll get to those after I finish getting thru the Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser books.

I have read more than half of the novels and I stick mostly to those that deal with common in-game relevance, to try enhance the game for my players who are readers as well. Have not read the archwizards saga yet, but am currently chomping down War of the Spider Queen series and just got the PB of The Rage, Seven Sisters and Windwalker.
What I am mostly curious about is if the developers plan to do any PnP crossover modules (not just the story hooks preseneted in PGtF) with the Archwizards saga or The Rage as the did with the City of the Spider Queen product? (While a bit heavy handed at times it is one of the better designed mods in a long time IMO). |

I own and read the 150 or so FR novels to date as well as the 120 or more Dragonlance novels. So yes I am a novel addict since I'm hoping to make 1,000 this year. :) I need about 90 more. |
For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Used to play, and never read any of the books. Now it's the opposite.A former fellow gamer got me into the books, and I haven't looked back.Like kuje,I have read preety much every FR novel out there,as well as most of the Dragonlance,a few Greyhawk(Justicar rocks),and I think that's pretty much it.So I try to stay out of the gaming converations.Unless of course to ask a question |

I've read only a couple of the novels, I'm afraid (one of the anthologies, War in Tethyr, and I think the first Arilyn & Danilo novel). Basically I don't quite have enough time to read all the gaming material I have (>1 year's worth of Dragon magazines behind) so I hardly have the time to read the novels.
To me the gaming is far more interesting... I'd only read a novel probably now for background for gaming.

I have read a lot of FR books ever since I went through high school (started around '88, just about the same time I started gaming in the Realms)
I have not had the chance/time to read all the novels, mainly because parts of my free time were also devoted reading the numerous FR game accessories put out in the heydays of 2nd edition (and many of those, especially those made by Mr. Schend, were as good as novels to me, kept me as much on my toes as any good novel would) |

I've read both current hunters blades, Icewind Dale, and am in the middle of Dark Elf trilogy. |
my brother and I have lived through 8 of the hells, and I believe that this counts as the 9th. |

egardrol and Solbaid - it appears youre Drizzt \ R A Salvatore fans?! Try reading a broader selection of FR novels for a more varied flavor of the Realms |
