Looking over the revised regional stats for the elven subraces in Chapter One of the Player's Guide to Faerun, I couldn't help but notice the lack of regional details for the sea elves of the Great Sea and Trackless Sea regions - otherwise named, the Outer Sea.

Are we to assume that the Inner Sea aquatic elf details provided equate to all regional sea elven communities?

Good idea Dargoth, but can I ask that you post what I'd just written on the WotC Boards instead. I've cancelled my account there remember, it's now inactive.

I'd just adjust the languages and feats for whatever region it's in. Making up a new one would be a bit tougher, if you wanted one from well out in the sea.

Making up a new regional for the Great Sea area was what I was thinking. It's a large area, and there's bound to be some diversity between sea-elven communities.

Thanks Dargoth. I'm going to keep that particular thread as a shortcut, as I am very curious as to the response it will receive.

Hmmmn, good idea. I was going to try my own hand at creating some regionals for the other sea-elves as well. Let's see what we come up with.

Races of Faerun, Elves of Evermeet and Sea of Fallen Stars are probably the best sources for getting info on Aquatic elves, we could always ask EC as well shes touched on Aquatic elves in quite a few of her books, Evermeet, Book 2 of the Lieral series and Elfshadow (briefly)

Another good idea.

Also, didn't one of the Volo's Guide touch on some aquatic elven communities as well?.

I'll have a look then. I'm pretty sure that Volo has said something about aquatic elven settlements.

I'm sure Steven Schend can contribute to this as well, being that he wrote Sea of Fallen Stars.

Ah yes.

Mr Schend, do you have any ideas that could help us with this effort?.
