...from me...
I'm a drow mage... and I do not want to atract attention to myself, but I would enjoy company... *smiles*

*sigh* Magicians are the most conniving, jealous, duplicitous, group of people on earth, even including lawyers and academics. They worship power and the wielding thereof, and seek every chance they can to undercut their rivals...

...did I mention I'm a mage?

Well met

<adapted from http://www.victorianweb.org/authors/hallam/10.html>

Lady, I bid thee to a sunny dome
Ringing with echoes of Faerunian song;
Henceforth to thee these magic halls belong,
And all the pleasant place is like a home.
Hark, on the right with full piano tone,
Old Alaundo's voice encircles all the air;
Hark yet again, like flute-tones mingling rare,
Comes the keen sweetness of Petrarca's moan.
Pass thou the lintel freely: without fear
Feast on the music: I do better know thee,
Than to suspect this pleasure thou dost owe me
Will wrong thy gentle spirit, or make less dear
That element whence thou must draw thy life;--

I say Alaundo! First to welcome in the new scribe. I guess ye are getting more attentive in your... older age.

In anycase,
Welcome. Enjoy your stay! May you find the knowledge you seek... and corrupt it to full extent.

Ah, more drow. Greetings and well met!
I hope that thee will add to the growing chaotic maelstrom rising within these halls.

*peeks head into the room* Ah! We've another drow! Well met and welcome indeed! My name is Sadie, if you need anything, feel free to ask.

And to second Salabasha, hope you enjoy your stay. See ya around!

~Sadie

"What's that," asked Mogget.
"Sardines," said Sam. "I knew they were standard rations, so I got a few tins for you."
"What are sardines?" Moggest asked suspiciously. "And why is there a key? Is this some sort of Abhorsen joke?"

Hope you enjoy being here

@Karesch: Thanks for the information
@Arilyn: We drow, or Dhaerow -as you may call them... err I mean us-, aren't acursed... we are sentient beings, just like you are... anyway, you should not consider ALL dark elves to be the same... I am different and you do not know me enough to say such words so I kindly ask that you take them back

Gods, not another one...

It seems that Drow have gone from Chaotic Evil beings of Darkness(My character) to Chaotic Good Rebels (Most of the other here at the Keep).

Pray tell, do you have the standard issue scimitars?

No! *angry* I am a mage! Swords are no match for good magic... useless in comparison!
