I was wondering about Mulhorand society since the current 5E official core books don't really delve much into the "new" restored Mulhorand, after the Imaskari have been overthrown.
Do we assume that they just take over their old cities that the Imaskari were ruling? The last thing I read about Skuld (Mulhorand capital) was that it had been destroyed prior to the Second Sundering. Did the Imaskari rebuild it when they took over?
I can only imagine that in the 5E setting, there is a LOT of architectural and infrastructure rebuilding once again, maybe the construction of new pyramids and temples and such, building them to honor new heroes (the brave ones that helped lead the rebellion against Imaskar), to honor the restored (revived) pantheon deities, and new dynasty of pharaohs, etc.
But what cities are they building/rebuilding? Is it a safe assumption that they are simply doing what WOTC wants them to do, to retro-restore "stuff from the old editions" and thus they are simply rebuilding back their old ancient cities? Restoring Skuld?
Or would they have a new capital?

And then, published sources say that the new Mulhorand society has now outlawed slavery (which was an ancient custom). Well, without slaves….. you're gonna need several extra decades just to complete that big huge pyramid. :p |

Or, you know, spells*. Put all those priests to use for the greater glory of their deities, especially Geb.
*at least in older editions there were plenty of spells to facilitate quick building of anything, don't know about 5E |

XGTE has the Temple of the Gods spell that could do it. |
