From what I understand, loudwater was founded when a bridge was made to show comraderie between the dwarves and elves.

however, the 4e map in forgotten realms campaign site doesn't show such a bridge.

Is the map wrong, outdated or am I missing something?

Found this map off of a quick Google search.

"These things also I have observed: that knowledge of our world is
to be nurtured like a precious flower, for it is the most precious
thing we have. Wherefore guard the word written and heed
words unwritten and set them down ere they fade . . . Learn
then, well, the arts of reading, writing, and listening true, and they
will lead you to the greatest art of all: understanding."

I'd assume the 4E map was simply incorrect. That map had issues -- such as the fact that the Sea of Fallen Stars lost a notable amount of water and yet no shorelines changed.

ha that explains that then.

I was reading the forgotten realms wiki and it looks like the town migrated entirely to another river in 4e. :p

Spent the last hour checking the place out. Was trying to locate a location list for that map.
