I am in the process of designing a forum currently, along with several others, and though combined we have significant experience in the IT field, none of us have actually set up a forum before. While we are doing quite admirably, enthusiasm is no substitute for experience. I have come to humbly beg some much needed knowledge on the creaation, upkeep, and administration of forums.
Our only current roadblock is a lack of non-proprietary avatars. Though we heve a system in place for the custom creation of avatars, we have very little idea of where to go to find such things neccesary to set up at least a modest stable of them.
I began to despair, but then remembered the exemplary, and prestigous Candlekeep forum, that I have been visiting, as work permits, and sit at the feet of what can only be described as some of the leads in the field of Forums, for Candlekeep is known far and wide as the greatest bastion of knowledge in all things Realmsian.
feel free to email me if you wish, instead of speaking here, if that is more convenient to you, and you wish to offer that symbolic cup of sugar, what could be new and amiable neighbors.

I give you my most profound thanks, this link has been invaluable. If you happen to have one laying around for smileys as well, I would be doubly greatful...
(By the way, I do care) |
