Immunity to low level spell tends to implies a spell that will not effect your character when cast at your character.
That is the spell needs to be cast on you.

I do not see how shield another would help your character at all. Shield other requires a spell caster of your party casts it to protect your character. The immunity from that spell will result in the protection spell cast to protect your character will fail. Leaving your character with no spell protection and the spell cast becoming a wasted spell.

If you have been granted a spell like ability that is another topic.

As i read for immunity its is like spell resistance but it automatically fails but you can lower your resistance if you like, can you do the same with immunity? ?

Immunity means it will never work. Your character will not have the option to dismiss it. It is not like lower spell resistance. The ability will be granted and permanent, always working even when you do not want it to work.

I an using the terms you are using, clearly your DM might mean something not the spell as immunity and might be more like spell resistance. You would need to consult with the DM to know what he means. When you speak with DM you also should ask what is considered low level spell. A low level spell could be level 1 of lower, it might be Level 3 or low- I can not picture it being higher then level 3 however your DM might consider Level 4 (or higher) as low level.

Hey Blade! What part of Ireland are you in?

“Fantasy is escapist, and that is its glory. If a soldier is imprisioned by the enemy, don't we consider it his duty to escape?. . .If we value the freedom of mind and soul, if we're partisans of liberty, then it's our plain duty to escape, and to take as many people with us as we can!”

There's Dispel Silence, and the ways (with edition dependent details) to cast without verbal components (which also allows plain Dispel).
