Above the carnage the sword begin to shake violently, almost out of the hands of the demon. Then suddenly it stops and with a surge of power Alastor hurls the sword with the most energy he could muster. The sword swings blade over hilt still outlined in the blue bolts of electricity. The dragon still occupied with Obliterist doesnt notice the blade flying tward him. Only a few more seconds. As the blade hurls time seems to stand still. With a final turn the blade sinks itself up to the hilt inside the dragons stomach. The beast gives a howl of anger rears back wings flying in anguash. Perfect. Everyone strike the time is at hand. From deep within the wound a shock eminates into the dragon. All of a sudden the blade hurls itself from the belly of the dragon and flys back tward Alastor. With a single motion the demon sheaths the sword and begins to fall to the ground completly exausted having used amost all his power charging the sword. As he falls his demon shape begins to fade and he becomes more and more human looking until Alastor is falling no longer and RaVeN hits the ground. |

Yoshimo turned to Narad who showed concern for his companion, and he thought for a moment that he would turn to help his comrade.
"Leave him, wizard, there is nothing we can do for him. I need your help defeating these men-at-arms!" Yoshimo called out to the slowing Narad.
Narad continued to run, yet his strides were not as insistant as they once were. His heart tugged at him as he saw RaVeN hit the ground, an simple urge for the warrior wizard to close in on his companion. Was this call true, or was it simply a message conveyed through pure emotion?
"Wizard!" the bounty hunter called, his proximity expanding further as he closed upon the soldiers. The Kara-Turan was not sure if his new-found companion would ineviatbly follow into battle, and he weighed the consequences of him entering battle alone with only his duel blades and the arrowhead protruding from his ribs. He did not like the odds of the massing soldiers in the first place. It was a decision the wizard would have to contemplate, using either his heart or his head...

Yoshimo ran his blade through a soldier, tearing through silver metal and flesh while nearly severing the man's arm. The bounty hunter's wakasashi finished the man quickly with a swift decapitating blow.
An archer fired across the way to Yoshimo as the rogue charged into combat with another man-at-arms. The bounty hunter could see the projectile sweep toward him from the corner of his peripheral vision, and adapted to the situation. The world slowed around him to a snails pace at his command, his leg stretching far into the air followed with the other as he leaped high and allowed the arrow to pass under him. He somersaulted in a perfectly horizontal poise, but not landed gracefully upon his feet. The shiny blades felled the next confused soldier without a question in his mind he would die.
Yoshimo could see the archer knocking another of his arrows, yet he would never let him fire another off again. The bounty hunter gripped the far end of his wakasashi and hurled it with a flick of his wrist. The blade spun wickedly and hit its mark through the chest of the archer, plummeting through bone, cartaledge, and the soldier's black heart.
An instinctual sense brought the bounty hunter's sword back behind his back to block another attack, the thick broad sword striking hard against the slender katana. Yoshimo countered with a swift punch and another cresent kick that knocked the guard back a little, finally sweeping his blade in a figure eight motion that swept blood back his way while the man-at-arms fell.
Little did the bounty hunter know, however, there were several men charging him as he ended their comrade's life. It seemed his little surprise attack would come to a bitter close after all...
Yoshimo glanced quickly back to Cherrn and Obliterist, Narad, Gion, and then the dragon. Was this really something for him to be dying over? he thought.
The bounty hunter turned again and poised his katana and his body to continue the noble fight. "Come on, my pretties! At least I will have the great serpantine's favor in death!" He spat while his blade clashed with the several soldiers, their own blood and his being spilled in the brutal melee.

Gion, seeying the situation desperated, raised his arms to the sky.
- "Ioh Fotxo Heryn"
The land in front of him opened suddenly and two great cavern bears appeared. Growlyng the bears attacked wilderly the dragon, who started laughing in front of the silly attack.
Gion using the time his two pets gave him transformed once again in his powerful Greater-werewolf shape. Ran as fast as he could all along the battlefield and arrived next to Yoshimo.
- "We should get out of here!"
Yoshimo looked at the Wolf. Gion continued running and reached Chernn. - "I'll take care of the archers, help Narad."
Said this, the druid attacked frontaly the archers who started firing at him. Their arrows hit the Werewolf but his regeneration power restored him inmediatly. Next to the first of the archers slayed him fast. And gazing to a new enemy, attacked with his savage claws.
The blood of the enemies was spilling from the claws and theeth of the druid who never stopped slaying all the party of archers, while was looking to his companions, ready to help them. |

>Narad runs towards fallen Raven. Arrows fly past him, but there is no time to worry about them. An unlucky soldier jumps to Narad's way. The bladesinger jumps aside avoiding the first strike and makes a backhand swing with his sword slashing the man's throat. Without stopping, Narad continues his run. While running Narad starts singing and swinging his sword around him. The sword swings faster and faster and as the song ends the swings form a blurry barrier around Narad. An arrow flies towards him, but the barrier deflects it. Finally Narad reaches Raven who lies on the ground. Narad slaps him couple times, but Raven doesn't respond. Couple arrows hit the ground next to them. Narad picks Raven's sword and puts it back to it's own place. After that Narad picks Raven up and with slow steps starts his journey back to safety> |

The body of RaVeN begins to shake. Narad loses his grip and drops the body on the ground. It begins to shake and convulse violently. Suddenly it stops and RaVeN begins to slowly reanimate. First twitching his fingers and slowly opening his eyes. He has that dazed look of "where am I". What, where am I? Before Narad could answer him an arrow stuck in the ground next to him. Both eyes dart tward it in the realization that this is a life or death situation. Quickly he makes a roll to the right and brings out the short swords from his sides. A quick fake and a slice from his right hand sword brings down another warrior. Then the voice of Alastor bounced through the heads of the companions. The fool will remember nothing inform him as little as you can. He doesnt know his purpose. |

Slowly wriggling his way out of the silk cacoon, Obliterist picks himself up. Although stumbling and looking exhausted, it appears as if he is now driven by a force beyond this plain of existance. He lets out a breath through his nose, with steam pouring out. His eyes have become hollow black holes. He rolls his neck and a crack is heard. He then whispers something under his breath... Montakreeth semoc k`ais quoonta deceuw.... He looks up at a charging group of fairly armoured men holding battle-axes and a devilish grin runs across his face Fear not me, for i shall only purge you.. Jumping twenty feet, he comes down with his sword drawn, slicing an enemy in half, then beheading the two in one well placed slice, his wounds not even bothering at all My Comrades, now is a time to flee. We shall regroup later, but now is not the time.. |

I'm gonna try something new, and I encourage you to do the same, can be interesting. _________________________________________________________________
I was starting to be tired as the rest of my, unexpected fellows. Now my hard-furred skin was choking me, i decided to transform in human, but i didn't see there was a hidden archer behind a litlle elevation of ground. Just finished my metamorphosis an arrow hit me in the back. I could feel the blood over my skin going down through my legs and reaching the ground. My sight turned into red. I could see Yoshimo fighting bravely, my two fellow bears death in front of the dragon in their value fight, and the sarcastic smile of the archer. My legs shaked and i fell in mi knees, i had to be carefull, but i wasn't still death! Although i couldn't trasnform anymore in Lican i still could fight. Painfully i standed up. Look at the always blue and sometimes fierce aky and prayed to Rillifane.
- "Io Fotxo Herin"
The ground shaked, to powerful brown arms appeared from the earth. The land opened and a great mud head with read eyes raised in front of me, a large body and two legs like two great trees finally grown. My best spell, THE GREAT EARTH ELEMENTAL was ready to fight. |

Fireheart, still concentrating her arrows on the archers and wizards, saw Gion fall, an arrow to his back. Racing to him, she knelt and quickly cast her most powerful healing spell. The next moment, crying out to Sune for her blessing, she cried to others. Everyone concentrate your power on the dragon. Since Obliterest has crushed the jar, it cannot return to power once it's dead, we just have to kill it! Once it falls, the others will scatter! -I hope - she added under her breath. Fireheart's allies each felt a light kiss on their cheek and Knew that thier next attacks would be stronger and better than before.
First, sorry I haven't had a chance to post in while, real life has kept me away from the computer. Second, uh, guys (and gals), my character is getting blown away powerwise here...if we're going to continue...my 3rd level spells are not even going to touch the stuff ya'll are doing. Umm...so should I make her more powerful or what?
Thanks! ~Fireheart

My mind was confused. I could hear the sounds of destruction all around me. My earth elemental was facing the dragon fiercely, hitting the creature with his ground fists, Fireheart was shouting things now i couldn't understand, and the pain in my back was driving me mad. Suddenly i saw the perfect legs of Fireheart next to me, her soft voice spoke some mistic words, and my wound's pain started to stop. The strenght returned to my arms and legs, and i felt strong once again.
- Thanks Fireheart. - I told her looking into her eyes.
The dragon roar of pain hit my head and force my to bring my hands to my ears, the Elemental was fighting well, I smiled. I looked again into fireheart, what do you suggest now? I recognize i've never fought against dragons, and I can't transform into werewolf anymore...

Fireheart, you can make your character more powerful if you wish. Remember that we aren't really following the rules, so you can improvise too. Welcome back ______________________________________________________________________
>Amazed by Raven's quick recovery and Alastor's voice booming in his head Narad doesn't have enough time to dodge as a line of fire shoots from the forest and hits his chest. Narad drops to his knees, grasping his chest. The spell burned a hole to his leather armour, but luckily didn't do much damage to Narad. Suddenly Narad feels dizzy. He looks to his side and sees blood dribbing from his earlier wounds. The battle had taken it's toll.> |

Blades twirling RaVeN lunges into another warrior and makes two wounds into both lungs. What is this place, where am I? A demon, a dragon and two army's what is this place? Am I dead? Or is it a dream. With a strike to the midsection between the chest and groin plating of a warrior RaVeN turns around to observe the battle. With eyes that reflect complete wonder the little human didnt understand the demon who shadowed him and controlled his actions. |

Wandering like a zombie through the battlefield with his hollowed eyes staring at the dragon. As he walks, he slices and dices unfortunate victims without even flinching. As he walks by a dazed Narad, he runs his palm across his wounds and continues..They sealed. Fear not Father, i shall make you proud...You will be proud...He has reached the dragon now. It writhes around killing in a mad rage. It sees Obliterist, and lets out a roar. He stands there and looks at it, smirking. It lunges at him and devours him whole. It's throat now has a lump in it. It looks satisfied for a moment; and then it starts shivering, screaming, throwing up acid and blood. It throws up shaken, yet satisfied Obliterist. I left him a bit of a surprise in there.......my sword |

Watching the battle unfold around her, Fireheart gasped in amazement as the dragon spit forth a shaken Obliterest. Once again, she cried out to the beautiful lady who was her patron. As her fellow fighters continued their efforts, they felt a sudden warmth come over them, another kiss on the cheek and they were suddenly empowered by the Lady's stregnth. They all knew the dragons attacks could no longer touch them.
Now! Cried Fireheart, while the dragon is distracted by Obiterest's sword inside. Someone hit it and it will be blinded by Sune's beauty! Throw everything you have at it.
There that should help. Upped her a bit but stayed with the character. I may still try to keep her as a support - healer/boosting type - character. That way if I can't post for a few days, I don't leave ya'll hanging. In terms of game play - everyone just got happy bonuses to AC, Saves, and gained some SR. Hope that helps. ~Fireheart |

Paring attention to Fireheart I wistled loudly, in response a great howl sounded all around the battlefield and a dozen of fast and soft steps could be heared. Twenty of the most brave wolves of the forest pack were at mi side. Then after gazing me attacked fiercely the dragon helping mi greater elemental.
I smiled "- Maybe thi is my last fight, dragon, but i can still itch you" I thought.
My hands filled with a red fulgor.
"- Io fotxo herin"
Tgousands of ants, scorpions and beatles started to flow from my fingers and walked slowly but unstoppeable to the dragon. All around the forest, the creatures could hear the pain screams of the dragon. I started preparing mi last spell. Raising a Prey to Rillifane i took mi lance over mi head. A silver film appeared from the ground and covered mi forming a pod. My steelskin spell and i were ready to fight. Praying to Rillifane once again i charged. |

Having sat on his knees in front of the writhering dragon, resting, since being vomited up, he feels Fireheart's spell come over him. He feels hope in the deepest, darkest pits of his soul. Gion's minions crawl over him, not harming him, but still being a bit shaken, he moves behind a smoldering tree. Getting over his rage, his pain begins washing over him again. He sees a bow and arrow on the ground next to him. He picks it up, and clawing a cut on his other wrist, lets a couple of drops of blood on the tip of the arrow. Mumbling a spell and twisting around the tree, he fires the arrow at the dragon. Mid-way through the arrow's flight, it burst into flames. As it hits the dragon, it melts through the dragon's chest scales. Suddenly the tip glows bright red within the dragon's flesh, and a pillar of red light rips though the clouds and hits the ground in front of the dragon. When the light lifts, a dozen Fellhounds, with their spines gleaming, leap out and attack the dragon. Direct hit |

The carnage continues, the mutilation of the dragon is nearly complete. Demons, bugs and steel take is toll on the great beast. With one last proud roar the dragon falls to the ground unmoving but unmistakably dead. A cheer of joy comes from the militia that fought so bravely against overwhelming odds. But the battle was not yet over. Only a portion of the dragons army was outside of the cave the men still poured from the entrance like water from a pipe. The militia now outnumbered on the plain below the base of the mountian was threatened by being surrounded and annihilated. The peasent militia begin to break. Running like frightened cows, the heros found themselfs nearly alone in pockets of resistance. The heros begin to break apart into bands in the pockets. Narad and RaVeN were in a pocket apart from Fireheart, The Demon and Gion. Yoshimo and Cherrn were no where to be seen. A voice begin to ring through their heads. We cannot win here. The group is scattered and so are our allies. Then run like scared cows. We must rally or flee in bands. We must decide. Quickly before we are overrun by the sheer brute force of the comming tide of darkness. They will not stop until they avenge their master. |

Whipes blood off claws I am the son of Ifrit: Chaos demon of fire. Abandoned or not, i will defend mine and my father's namesake. Whether leading me to my death or not. Besides, I have to go fetch my sword..... Lets out a molevolent chuckle and starts singing as he makes his way to the dragon, ripping enemy throats as he goes That dragon guzzled my blade, and now his debt is full paid; but that dragon guzzled my sword, it once belonged to Ifrit: my lord; so i must fetch my device, no other weapon will surly sufice.......

Fireheart looked at Gion and a silvery laugh escaped her. At his questioning look, she said "Is it me or did the demon just spout poetry - rhyming poetry at that - in the middle of battle?" She tilted her head back and laughed. With a smile and dancing blades, she followed the demon toward the dragon so he could retrieve his sword.
A moment of levity - had to! Sorry. ~Fireheart |

Picks up a sword from a fallen enemy and start cutting in to the dragon's throat. A disgusting odor comes out of it's throat, followed by a large amount of blackened blood. Tearing off some cloth from another fallen soldier and utsit up his nose. I've got a bit of a dive ahead of me Fireheart. If you could just give me some cover, i shouldn't be to long. Using his claws, he makes his way down it's throat to retrieve his sword. |

The circles begin to close in, RaVeN began to tire. We must regroup. In a desparate attempt to break a hole in the two lines he ran toward the dragon hacking and slashing everything he came across. Hurling himself the last few feet he lands exausted at the bloody dragon. Narad, he sputtered, hes still in there. He will be overrun soon, if we dont help him. |

I looked how the demon and fireheart went to retrieve their weapons without caring of the danger surrounding us and i started to feel sick and weak, those careless warriors wouldn't last without someone wise to help them, mi legs started to shake. One of the wolves survivors of the battle walked towards me and sucked my hand looking at me worried. I smiled at him.
"- Don't worry mi friend." - Mi hands become blue.- "Vita mortis rego" - mi cure spell worked and i felt perfectly once again. The wolf smiled and ran to the forest. My heart wanted to run to the forest with all the pack, but my responsability was to keep with mi new companions till this story ended. I had an idea

Crawling back out of the dragon's throat, covered in stomach acid, he thanks Fireheart for her protection. As an arrow flies toward her, he jumps towards it and cuts it in half. He starts tearing other soldiers to peices, but still being overwhelmed, he begins to look desperate. He calls out.... Does anybody see a way out? It's only a matter of time before we wear out. We can fight another day if we retreat now! His hands and eyes glow and he lets loose a massive wave of fire that breaks a line in the attackers. I think we can make it. I'll go if you're up to it....

Standing up looking at the gap. It lead strait tward the forest. Dark and forbidding but anywhere was better than where they were. Looking around RaVeN studies the eyes of his companions fatiuged, wounded, and lacking in spirit. Something must be done to raise moral or they would all go down in flames. How long can we wait for them to get out? |

A loud snap is heard as he breaks a neck, then slices a few others up. The path through the enemy starts to close, but levitating a few enemy battle-axes , he keeps it open. I must take my leave. I'll keep this path defended while the rest of you can get out. Try to get some militia on the way. This battle isnt over by-far, and we need all the support we can get. A levitating axe de-limbs a charging soldier holding a nasty looking serated dagger. Obliterist levitates the dagger, too. posting it near the exit to defend it. |

>Narad felt Fireheart's magics' healing power slowly filling his body. His weaknes didn't feel so bad anymore. Turning his head Narad saw Raven rushing through the line of enemies. With Raven gone Narad was alone surrounded by the enemy. He stayed down and hoped that the soldiers wouldn't test if he truly was dead. Just then a soldier started towards Narad, holding a sword and ready to strike. As the soldier towered above Narad and swinged his sword Narad released his spell and a bright light appeared between them. Scared, the soldier took couple of steps back. Narad picked up his own sword and thrusted into the soldier's stomach. Quickly Narad was on his feet and tried to find an opening on the ring but found none. The suprised soldiers recovered and attacked> |

Just then, a score of levitated weopons hack through Narad's attackers, leaving a path through the destruction to where RaVeN and Obliterist were in the forest. Gritting his teeth, with his eyes glowing, Obliterist shouts out to Narad. Come now, Hurry up! I'm begining to lose focus.... A couple levitating, blood soaked weopons start dropping to the ground.
I'm going to be gone for a while now (about a month) But just keep this campaign going on for me! |

That's it! Summoning all of his strength, Obliterist levitates his comrades and himself into the edge of the woods, where, upon landing, his nose and eyes start bleeding. Eragh! If i keep going on this pace, i'll exhast myself. Coughing up some bile, Obliterist takes a step forward into the woods, with a trail of blood following; the blood leaking from multiple wounds in his stomach, back, calfs, and neck. Who's up for a nice jog?
Im back. sorry about the wait |
