Hey,

I just picked up out of the abyss, and so far all I've done is literally flip through the pages, but I noted they had some heraldic symbols for some groups that I don't think I've ever seen heraldic symbols for before (the two new ones being the order of the gauntlet and the emerald enclave). I'm just wondering, has anyone ever tried to make a collection of the various heraldic symbols of the realms anywhere? Also, since I didn't pick up the other earlier modules, I'm kind of wondering if they did the same in the other 5e modules? I made an effort to make more full size versions of the Waterdhavian noble family sigils (about 1/4 of them anyway), and I tried making my own version of Impiltur's symbol as well.

The Order of the Gauntlet, Harpers, Zhents, Emerald Enclave, and the Lord's Alliance have been around since they started the new format for organized play for 5e. Those symbols and their factions have been part of all the adventures thus far, and as far as I know those are the only emblems that have gotten any official love. The faction kit artwork link makes for some nice phone/tablet/desktop backgrouns, though. I haven't seen a collection of Realmsian Heraldry, but I would be interested in such a collection.

If it's of interest, I did a design for the Elven House Aunglor family crest, here, taken from the description in Cormanthyr, Empire of the Elves, I believe.

Oh sweet, they did what I've done in the past (i.e. put heraldry on a print out for characters). That's exactly why I was looking to find this type of collection.

Aye. I'm considering doing something like that as well, only print them on cardstock, cut and laminate them as flash cards. One side will have the emblem, the other the name of the family or faction the heraldry belongs to, as well as the common knowledge about the related family or faction. I'm doing the gods first, though, in the same manner. That way I can just keep a couple decks of flash cards at my DM screen and pass the card around for visual aid.
I'd love to see them do something like that on an official level, though.
