Rich Baker made a very interesting post in the "Ask Rich Baker thread"

In response to question about what would happan to the material that was cut from PGTF Rich made the following post.

"The only web enhancement I know of is the monster conversion appendix.

Other stuff that was cut out of the Player's Guide included a race chapter, the monster chapter, a couple of prestige classes, and some Vile Darkness-like content (FR-specific fiend lords and elder evils).

The race chapter probably won't come to light, because on examining it again, we realized that it was really pretty redundant with the FRCS and Races of Faerun. The monster chapter will be included in its entirety in an early 2005 product.
At least one of the prestige classes (the Master Transmogrifist) found its way into a 3rd trimester core D&D product, which I can't quite talk about yet. The fiend lords (including Bazim-Gorag) will make it into a mid-2005 FR product.

Serpent Kingdoms is pretty much done with editing. I know the sarrukh are still in it, but I couldn't tell you much otherwise (I haven't seen the developed, drastically cut down to fit, edited manuscript yet)."

Ah the Fiend Lords...now that's something I would have liked to have seen. Hopefully this 2005 product will detail all of them, plus a number of new creations...

The Master Transmogrifist sounds interesting too. What more do we know about it...?

Ah, that explains it...

Your post though, made me think of something else. Which is the next class/focus to receive treatment in the Complete [Insert Focus Here] series...?

Complete Divine comes out in May (Which Id assume will focus on Clerics/Paladins/Druids and maybe monks), the next one should be the Complte Arcane which I imagine will be focusing on Wizards and Sorcerors

Oh...I already knew that. I was just curious as to what was scheduled beyond Complete Arcane...Although, given what classes the three previous tomes (Fighter, Divine, and Arcane) cover, there's really not that much left...

In terms of things not making the cut for the Player's Guide, I'm curious as to what product will apparently include the Coronal blades of Myth Drannor that Travis Stout mentioned.

Thanks for posting this news Dargoth.

That's my speculation as well unless they are doing something else to tie-in with Richard Baker's novel. Lost Civilizations? Is that the working title? For some reason I keep thinking it's Lost Empires?

Yes, along with (hopefully) some source information on the older kingdoms of the Realms - Anauria, Kingdom of Man, and Phalorn for example...

And I've put a small note in the 'WotC and FR News' section...That should cover all the bases I think...

Basically anything...

I'm looking for more than the little tidbits that have been mentioned and/or dropped into sourcebooks and adventues from both 2nd and 3rd Edition. It's hard to be more specific, as we have so little to go on...

I think mostly, information pertaining to each of the realms origins and/or early days would be the most helpful. But tell me, why do you ask...?

Hi George

I remember a while ago on the Realms List you mentioned that your North Timeline was due for an update (something about Eric pointing out 'some' errors.... )- how is it progressing?

cheers

Damian

I'm hoping to have the revised version done in the next week or so - just found some stuff on Loudwater (Green Regent - WotC website piece) that looks great for inclusion and a bit of minor hole patching. Shouldn't be long now.

The reason I queried your comment on Phalorm/KoM is that the history, genesis, and dissolution of these realms have been unofficially detailed by myself and Eric Boyd as a "fun" project (I think originally for the FR Encyclopedia thingy). The dates are in my North Timeline, the rationales are in my head and on my PC in note form and you HAVE to get Eric's "Eye of Myrkul" DUNGEON adventure in issue #73. That'll help a bit. If you are interested, drop me aline or wait till my revised North Timeline hits the headlines...

The Talonmists indeed make an appearance but the details are sketchy. Even Ed didn't have much on these guys!:)
