I'm actually not sure what will happen between Innovindil and Drizzt, its sure to be odd though......

The Chosen of Vhaeraun
"Nature is governed by certain immutable rules. By virtue of claw and fang, the lion will always triumph over the goat.Given time, the pounding of the sea will wear away the stone. And when dark elves mingle with the lighter races, the offspring invariably take after the dark parent. It is all much the same. That which is greater shall prevail. Our numbers increase steadily, both through birth and conquest. The dark elves are the dominant race, so ordained by the gods." Ka'Narlist of the Ilythiiri.

My poor collection (if it could be called that) only includes three pitifull books... the Icewind Dale trilogy...

Ec'Thelion, formerly known as Forgotten One, now known as Ec'Thelion the Overpowered.
Currently not all that active. I'm preoccupied with Warcraft III for the moment. Bite me :P

I have just finished reading Extinction making it the 100th Forgotten Realms novel I have finished.I thought it was a very good book and I am eagerly waiting for Annihilation to come out. As for the rest of my collection, I have pretty much all the recent novels, I am just missing most of the older ones.

I currently own 108 of these fine books. The ring of winter is my current book and I have probably read about half of what I own.

What I have read? How much space do I have?

Almost all paperbacked... I have read (and own) what I could get my hands on. I could really do with kuje's nice list right now...

I have even read the Double Diamond Triangle Saga.

I still need to get my hands on:

Murder in Halruaa (one of the 2 murder-mystery set in FR)
Ironhelm (book 1 of the Maztica trilogy)
The new Shandril trilogy (I have the two old ones)
The Alabaster Staff (from the Rogues series, it never came to my book store)
... Oh, and the stuff still in HC!

Interesting topic.

I most recently finished reading The Black Bouquet. I'm pretty caught up with the Realms novels. I haven't read the following:

Threat from the Sea Series
Age of Netheril Trilogy (if that's what it's called)
The Nobles books (except for King Pinch - I struggled through that)
Once Around the Realms
The Giants Trilogy
The Murder books
The City books (with the exception of City of Ravens)

I have yet to purchase (or even seen on shelves) Extinction or The Yellow Silk, and I recently bought The Sapphire Cresent and the new Spellfire revision. Those will have to wait, as I've been re-reading the Ring Trilogy. I'll be reading The Silmarillion for the first time after that.

I'm dying to read the new Spellfire, though.

"That's right, hurl back views that force ye to think by name-calling - 'tis the grand old tradition, let it not down! Anything to keep from having to think, or - Mystra forfend - change thy own views!"

Narnra glowered at her father. "Just how am I to learn how to think? By being taught by you?"

"Some folk in the Realms would give their lives for the chance to learn at my feet," Elminster said mildly. "Several already have."

I own 168 FR novels, encompassing every novel in every series (except for yellow silk as it is not out here in vegas yet). Some I have multiple copies of, since there are multiple editions out. For example, I own the old and new Avatars, I own the Elminster books in both hardcover and paperback, I own 2 copies of each of Elaines books, their original Harpers editions and the newer ongs and swords editions, etc. I have read just about all of these as well. I am currently reading Tangled webs, and just got Windwalker. I have yet to read (though I do own) the Threat from the Sea trilogy, the twilight Giants trilogy, and war of the spider queen.

What I dream of doing is what Ed does...very occasionally have chats with Mr. Athans and Mr. Archer about future books. It would be wonderful to be able to have a hand at steering the Realms (or even a glimpse of other people's hands on the tiller)...but the waiting, the horrible waiting, for books that haven't come out yet would be even longer. :} Sweet torture.

Well, I'm a lot more up to date on the recent stuff than on the older material. By stunning, unbelievable, conincidence, I've read most of the stuff that's come out in paperback since I started working at a bookstore that carries the series. For the older stuff, I've had to search the used stores around town, which is a bit hit and miss. Anyway, I just finished the Sembia series (and have read the first of the Erevis Cale books) and the Rogues series, and I'm pretty much up to date on the softcover WotSQ books and on the Drizzt saga. I've been trying to get caught up on the Harpers series, but I'm a wee bit behind in that one, and I have read The Sapphire Crescent (can't remember off-hand what the name of that series is, sorry). The last actual individual title I finished was The Yellow Silk.

As far as the older material is concerned, as I said, I don't really have a super-reliable source for it, so I'm not as caught up on it. I did read Darkwalker on Moonshae (for the first time) not that long ago, and have managed to track down the other books in that series, although I haven't read them yet.

Oi! Thump!

The last one that I read, Extinction I knocked over in 6 hours or so!

Well after my brief visit to Ravenloft with Heart of Midnight, I went on to read Stormlight - which I must say I quite enjoyed, its a shame Firefall Vale wasnt detailed elsewhere.

After which I read WotSQ 4: Extinction - a great novel again for the series!! and am currently on The Yellow Silk - going great so far, a very dirty gritty feel to the Realms for a change

I've went through all the Drizzt Collections, Elminsters books and the WOTSQ collections. I just started reading the Shadows of Avatars series. And I plan on reading the Rogue series next, followed by the Netheril series.

Also speaking does anyone know a site where I can find the character write ups for the Netheril mages?

Man, are you guys lucky! I live in Finland and not many books are translated to finnish. Just Salvatore's and Cunningham's books and those I've read ages ago. Some books I find in english, but when its not on your own language, you just can't help feeling that you are missing something. And some guy had like 80 books? I've got three.

Ive just this minute got back from town with a copy of Venoms Taste (and Unearthed Arcana).... let me know (a new thread would probably be preferable) what you think of it Sirius Looking forward to reading this one, should be quite a unique flavor.

I just finished Yellow Silk, and am Halfway through Venom's tatse, I read every FR book I can get my hands on since WOTC doesnt like to publish Fluf in their gaming products.
I am eagerly awaiting Rage and Forsaken House and El's daughter, the best part is when you change novels you end up changing perspective because all writers are different in some manner.

On a side note I did take the time to plead with Mr Baker to not beat the Elves of FR to much as I cant see how they can take much more( Dwarves get thunder blessing, elves get Everseka whipped after Evermeet gets attacked), I'm praying.

Well hopefully the elves might be taking out the switch to the Daemonfey in Mr. Baker's novel. I am eagerly waiting to see what Richard Baker does with his opening novel in that triology. Hopefully, readers will get some clues, even brief hints, as to the current state of all the elven kingdoms including Prince Lamruil's new one.

I just finished Venom's Taste, and am now reading Yello Silk. When that is done, i will own a copy of and have read every title in the FR series.I will then have to go back to my Ravenloft and Dark Sun series to finally read all of those in the mean time as I wait for all the new FR books to come out, and I am eagerly awaiting these as it looks like some awesome ones are coming out this year, and we only know through August.

Well i finished The Yellow Silk (excellent!) and then went on to read The City of Ravens (partly because I never before realised it was Richard Baker who wrote it and secondly because Id recently heard a lot of praise about the novel).... what a great novel it is!!!

Anyway, I finished that last night, so today ill be starting Venoms Taste...

I'm way behind on my reading. So far only knocked out these ones

All the Dark Elf books (Homeland til Lone Drow)
Avatar Trilogy (Include Prince of Lies and Crucible)
Empires Trilogy
Cleric Quintet
Spellfire Trilogy
All the Elminster Novels
1st Moonshea Trilogy (Black Wizards, Darkwalker on Moonshea, and Darkwell)
Shadows(?) of Darkness Trilogy (wher Elminster has Mystras power in him)

I think that is it, may have forgottne some. I have the Cormyr Trilogy at home to read, also want to read the Return of the Archwizards(I want to use shades in my campaign but know squat), and Evermeet.

I've read about 1/3 of my collection, which is about 40 books. I began with RAS then switched to Cunningham and Greenwood. I can't say that i read in any paricular order: when i have finished Elfsong, i started The Alabaster Staff and so on.
It is quite difficult to be up to date with FR Novels when you start reading them three yaers ago, and you have all the books published before to read and many new novels coming.
