Which god of the Realms do you think would be appropriate? I was thinking either Torm/Ilmater I read of the Girded Healers in Torm's wiki entry. Where can I learn more of this sect? Or maybe the Threefold God Torm/Tyr/Helm, but am wide open to suggestions.

First deity that comes to mind for a Warforge is Gond. Maybe you can elaborate on why you are thinking Tyr/Torm/Helm?
Edit: Dragon 381 is the wiki reference for the Girded Healers you mention, but there are no other sources listed. |

Gondsman are Intelligence 4 Golems that the 3.5e Techsmith prestige class create. For me Gondsman = Torilian Warforged (minus the concentration on war).
Obviously for me I'd make it a cleric of Gond. However there's no reason a Gondsman can't honour and revere Gond as their creator and then dedicate themselves to a more martially inclined god. It simply comes down to what life experience the Gondsman had to set them on that path. |

You could always use my approach for Realmsified warforged: Wooly's Warforged. If you go with the approach of a member of the second batch, recently "awakened" in the livegolem body, then just about any deity would be appropriate. |

Just wanted to clarify, I'm not trying to imply that the post's concept cannot be so. I'm just saying that flushing out the whitherto's and whyfore's might be easier if more info were available on why he might have taken to this order. |

Definitely Gond. However, others could well fit. For instance, Warforged that adhere to their warlike roots could favor Tempus, the Red Knight, Torm, Helm, and Valkur. The more dispassionate adherents to the elements may favor Grumbar or Kossuth. The ones that favor their magical roots or who revere knowledge or the intellect could seek out Mystra, Auppenser, Azuth, Oghma, Deneir, Savras, ..... and possibly in a more odd twist if it were a sick warforged that hates "flesh-folk" then Velsharoon. |

In case it's relevant, I did a quick glance at the Dragon issue that mentions the Girded Healers. You don't get more info than is already on the wiki about the order other than a description of the Order's symbol.

Oh, and a rather interesting take for a warforged might be a cleric of Sune..... a warforged that seeks to find love in a world not made for his kind to procreate. |

Gond is arguably the most appropriate, but for some reason I don't want to go that route. The character concept in my head is a combat medic who's spiritual growth led to his being a cleric. I guess duty is important to him as he still views himself as a soldier and alleviating suffering was his job, which is why I'm kind of leaning towards Girded Healer. Lots of good suggestions. Thanks Scribes. |
