Previously available only on the Onder Librum site, my Stormtalons novel THE GHOST IN THE STONE is now available on Amazon. (Stormtalons is the new epic fantasy universe created by Ed Greenwood.) So if you were waiting to get it using an Amazon gift card, your Amazon Prime membership, or some such, YOUR HOUR IS AT HAND!

And you know, if you already did get it via Onder Librum but you're just bursting with the urge to share your opinion of it with the world, you can still post a review on Amazon. The Amazon Gestapo won't come in the night and kick in your door or anything. Or at least I don't think so.

There's a new eBook edition of my horror novel DEAD TIME out from the fine people at Crossroad Press. It's already available on Amazon and will be listed at Barnes & Noble, iTunes, and all the usual suspects in the very near future.

DEAD TIME combines the thrills and chills of supernatural horror with the twisty logic of classic time travel stories. The hero faces malevolent spirits and also has to worry about creating paradoxes, altering his own past, erasing himself from existence, and all that kind of thing.

Here's a link to the book on Amazon:

Available now! THIS SWORD FOR HIRE collects all the stories (so far) about my sword-and-sorcery hero Selden, which is to say, some of my favorite stuff. No BS, I think anyone who likes my Forgotten Realms stuff will like these yarns as well. You can check out the book here:

Out of curiosity, was there ever plans to write further stories on Aoth and the Brotherhood of the Griffon? Been awhile but was rereading those books and enjoyed them quite a bit.

At one point, there were definitely plans to continue the series, but then Wizards of the Coast decided to wind down the entire Forgotten Realms fiction line, and those plans were canceled along with many others.

Anyway, glad you enjoyed the books that do exist.

Too bad. I'm a fan of the Brotherhood, as well. I started reading Realms novels with the Captive Flame. So, thanks for those books you gave us, I really enjoyed them.

Instead of seeking change, you prefer a void, merciless abyss of a world...

Just curious, where do you see the Eminence of Araunt and Szass Tam headed? I'm seeing the two groups headed to a conflict, even though Tam is undead himself. That being said, the question of what remains of the eminence is left up in the air, especially with the sundering.

Sorry for the delay in answering the question above. Somehow I just noticed it.

Honestly, I haven't thought about the Eminence in relation to Szass, but you're right, assuming the Eminence still exists post-Sundering, some sort of interaction seems likely, possibly when Szass tries to become the leader. Naturally, there would be powerful entities within the Eminence who would be reluctant to grant him such a position.

Or maybe the Eminence tries to recruit Szass's undead minions, and he doesn't take kindly to that.

Either is a good idea for a story, or one strand of a story, but I probably won't be telling it (or any more Realms yarns of any sort, alas.) DM's who fight the notion interesting will have to spin it out in their campaigns.

I have a new collection out called THE THINGS THAT CRAWL It contains some of the best short fiction I've written over the years.

The packaging makes it look like it's 100% horror, but in reality, it's got some sword-and-sorcery in it and some other non-horror pieces as well. I think many Candlekeep people would find something to enjoy in it.

If you're interested, you can check it out here:

BLACK CROWNS, my new Black River Irregulars fantasy novel, is out. The Black River Irregulars are a quirky band of mercenaries who fight and connive their way through Privateer Press's Iron Kingdoms universe.

The Iron Kingdoms is gritty sword-and-sorcery with a steampunk overlay, and if you like my Brotherhood of the Griffon series or just heroic fantasy or steampunk in general, there's a good chance you'll like this too. Here's a link to check it out:

I'm going to have to check that out. I've obviously enjoyed your stuff, and Timothy Zahn and Michael Stackpole are favorites, too. I've not read Aaron Allston, I don't believe, but I know of some of his stuff.

IRE OF THE VOID, my new Lovecraftian/cosmic horror novella, is now available on the Fantasy Flight Games website.

This one ties into FFG's "Arkham Horror" game, but you don't need any familiarity with the game to read and enjoy it. Without giving away too much, the story features my take on one of my favorite classic cosmic-horror menaces, I'm pleased with how it came out, and I hope you'll give it a look.

I'm proud to announce the publication of THE HEP CATS OF ULTHAR AND OTHER LOVECRAFTIAN TALES. The book collects thirteen of my best stories of cosmic horror and Cthulhu Mythos shenanigans.

The title novelette and two of the short stories have never been published before.

As you probably guessed, the predominant vibe is horror, but there's also some swordplay and action for those who enjoy my heroic fantasy and even a funny story.

The eBook is available now. The paperback edition will follow shortly.

Please check it out:
