As great of a read this article was, as all of Ed's writings are, I am curious as to why there was practically no mention of the deity of sentient oozes, Ghaunadar? In fact, his entry states he is a rather ancient god and ended up in the Drow Pantheon on a technicality.
Tharizdun has an aspect called 'the Elder Elemental eye' which is VERY similar to Ghaunadar (and many folks think they are one and the same), so the article can be 'D&D canon'. Using a setting-specific name would make it an FR article.

Or are you saying that they're also making FR articles setting neutral too? What's the point of an article devoted to a specific setting then?
