Hi everyone,
on the spell greater command, do you need to have a target / victim that understands your language?
In my opinion, no. The magic forces the beings to do at your command, so they do not need to understand it.
What do you think?

If you mean the 3rd Edition spell, it has the laguage-dependent descriptor, so yes: the target must understand your speech.
Which edition's spell were you referencing? |

Gotcha.
Definitely language-dependent, so the target must understand the caster's speech. I'd show some leeway as a DM for simple commands in related languages (Chondathan/Common, for example), or that could be communicated with gestures. |
