Has anyone read any books or know if anything new has come up with Amaunator in 1478-1481 DR? Only book I can remember him being mentioned in is Brotherhood of the Griffon where a female cleric worshipped him.

Or any news of potential changes to him or his clergy in the upcoming Sundering

I have not seen anything, seems most writers are writing about Amadeus or the feywilds

Aside from the Brotherhood of the Griffon series I don't think he has been mentioned in any 4 e novels nor has any new information about him been released.

He returned many years later as Lathander. Around the time of the Spellplague it was revealed that Lathander was an aspect of Amaunator.
