JUST FINISHED THIS GREAT TRILOGY:
recommended by a fellow scribe, it contains some really nice information about the feywild
and finally on Hobgoblins, in the giantspire mountains.
Finally a series where the Hobgoblins are shown as I had seen them before, not just dumb idiots ( like they are used in many other books ) but proud and merciless barbarians. Not necessary evil, but also far from merciful.
Also, some evil chars there of course, like Maaqua, but in general just proud and honourbound barbarians and warriors.
ANYONE RED THE BOOKS AND AGREES?

| I liked reading the books too. Hopefully we get more books with Hweilan since there was still a lot of unanswered stuff by the end of the trilogy. |

I read the first book around the time it came out and thought it was okay. I had the second one for months and then decided to just wait until part 3 came out to read them back to back. I don't know what seemed so so about part 1 but I really enjoyed 2 and 3. I second Jakuta Khan's comments about the Hobgoblins. It was nice to see them as something other than monsters. They may be monsterous, but they don't have to be monsters. I do hope that we see more of this series.
As a side note, I also loved the sideways artwork on the covers. |

The artwork was pretty cool . I loved this series as well , it was really something different from the usual FR fare and I hope we get to read more of Hweilan's adventures soon. |

I too loved this series... right up there with The Haunted Lands Trilogy by Mr. Byers
I agree that we should see more, there were alot of unanswered ?'s at the end |

I have thought about starting a thread for this series for awhile, but didn't get around to it. I too feel that this series needs at least one more novel. There was still a lot left to be done. I loved Lendri and Mandaurthis, and Darric was nice, too. Hwelien bothered me sometimes. She's not my favorite heroine. I feel like several series, including this one, are getting cheated out of follow-ups. Sometimes authors intentional leave loose ends, but Chosen of Nendewen just felt plain unfinished, and I say this because I liked it and want more.
