Ok, so I'm in the middle of a nice game, and Lord Phandymm has entered the stage...then I realize that the only reference I have to this fellow is in the Ruins of Zhentil Keep boxed set...and a VERY HAZY memory that perhaps he was in Realms of Infamy (which I don't have any longer).
Does anyone have any source reference for Lord Phandymm of Zhentil Keep?

He was an older, anti-Zhentarim noble who often spoke against giving the Wizards more cpower in the keep.
In the story, somehow Manshoon mind-controlled him into speaking (at council) for granting Manshoon more power in Zhentil Keep, which lead to a re-vote. This was a pivotal point in Manshoon's career, as well as Fzoul's - the is is when the Zhentarrim gained control of the military arm of the keep.
Lord Chess realized something was awry and tried to put a stop to it, and then Beholders (controlled by Elminster... I think) attacked everyone. You should probably ask Ed in his thread - he wrote the story. |
