Pavel (Rogue Dragons)
Drizzt (Legend of Drizzt)
Jarlaxle (Legend of Drizzt and Sellswords)
Kalen (Shadowbane)

Zaor (Evermeet)
Phaeraun (WotSQ and Empyrean Odyssey)
Ryld (WotSQ)
Valas (WotSQ)
Q'arlynd (Lady Penitent)
Naxil (Lady Penitent)
Magadon (Erevis Cale and Twilight Wars)
Cale (Erevis Cale and Twilight Wars)
Riven (Erevis Cale and Twilight Wars)
Abolar (Erevis Cale and Twilight Wars)
Araevin (Last Mythal)
Starbow (Last Mythal)
Taraun (Empyrean Odyssey) Vedoran (Unbroken Chain)

Pharaun was in the "Empyrean Odyssey" books? I didn't know that.
From what I understand, he wasn't in them for long. |

Really? So you haven't read those plethora of scrolls where scribes denounced Reid's (mis-)use of Pharaun: [spoiler]he was resurrected only to be killed off again, in the most horrible of ways. |

| Ah well. I've been putting off reading them for some time, but now that I know Pharaun's involved -- even if it's only a little bit -- I may have to bump them higher up on my Realms "To-Read" stack. |

I like Reid's Realms novels. He's among my favourite list of favoured authors writing for the setting. So, as a rule, I generally tend to avoid any scrolls discussing his works, so they're not spoiled later.
It's also why I'm not reading your SPOILER space. |

Meh. If I were you, I'd rather invest my precious time in some other Realms or non-Realms novels. [The Fractured Sky, Book 2 in the series, is one of the very few books I literally threw away. Yes, that's how I loved it. Though of course, I heard other scribes praised that series to the heavens.] |

I just read the last book of that series and then couldn't muster enough enthusiasm to read the rest. In spite of that it seemed like a pretty good series to me. |

I have read the first 2 books of that series and am not impressed. I enjoyed Reid's previous Realms books, but this series just feels like it has something missing. I will read book 3 just to check it off of my "To Read" Realms book list. |

That's why I prefer to read the trilogy for myself and make my own judgement. |

| hard to choose favorite character either Malik he always makes me laugh, or Jarlaxle. Favorite trilogy though really hard to pick one so a top 5; Year of The Rouge Dragons, Empires which is completely overlooked and underrated in my opinion, Starlight and Shadows ending was a bummer though, Erevis Cale Trilogy, and Last Mythal |

Among the books I've read so far, I think I can name Entreri as my favourite character. Actually, he was better in the older books, but I still enjoy reading the books more, when he's involved. The duo of him and Jarlaxle was really great & fun to read, in the Sellswords trilogy.
I cannot name a favourite single book though. However, "The Sellswords" Trilogy, "The Twilight War" Trilogy and "Haunted Lands" Trilogy (especially Szass Tam's pages) were all great. Right now, I'm reading the third book of the "War of the Spider Queen" series and it's really good. I guess Pharaun can be a hell of a candidate for my "favourite characters" list, as well. |
