Can somone please explain the Artificer's Metamagic Trigger? They activate an item, typially a wand and use a metamagic Feat, say maximize spell. Do they Have to HAVE the metamagic feat? or like them just "creating" spells they dont actually have can they just simply use any metamagic feat? Anyone actually play or DM and artificer? Please explain.
You have to have the metamagic feats before your can apply them using metamagic trigger. Artificers are broken enough without giving them every metamagic feat in the game for free.
Doggedly converting 3e back to what D&D should be... Sigh... And now 4e as well.
