Good for you, even if image posting does not always work for you *G*

But if your happy with it, great!

Matt, you do recall our previous conversation about adapting Realms portals so you could shuffle me a copy of Menzoberranzan?

Heh. Now is the time. You can send me your copy of Ed Greenwood Presents whenever you like.

It's a bad image, I can't make out what it's supposed to be at all.

*giant smirk*

Yeah, blind humor is terrible, but there it is. Now, if someone could clue me in I might, or might not be jelious. We're leaning towards not, since I'm so late to most of the novels/source material it's almost a joke.

Nice haul. But I wonder if the art work on the cover is what they are going for for 5E. If so I'm not a fan. I was hoping more for throw back art. But I guess it's the content and not the cover.

Four days. Meaning about a week and a half, if the area shops are any indicator. And I live less than an hour from Wizbro's HQ.

The front cover is cool, but I don't like it. The inside has all sorts of juicy Realmslore including scans of Ed's original manuscripts. Is very cool.

I'll do my best to suppress my jealousy.

There is a rumour going around that I have found god. I think is unlikely because I have enough difficulty finding my keys, and there is empirical evidence that they exist.

As was my response. (I was hoping you'd interpret it that way. Guess the whole edition-warring and stuff in the past few years has made smileys and other tone-indicators into necessities on these boards. *sadface* So sick of sarcasm and passive-aggressive posts stuff making irony or light-hearted teasing seemingly impossible.)

My local game shop will be holding on for me in 3 days and I will be there on my lunch hour to pick it up. The shop owners indicated they might get them earlier but not be able to sell them. I am hoping this is the case so I don't have to wait after lunch on the 16th. :D

If they were slighted then clearly they have no sense of humour. :)

I was living in Singapore when the 3E FRCS was released and I got my copy four weeks before the rest of the world (and, I distinctly remember, four weeks before the AUTHORS got their copies).

Sadly, I couldn't brag about it because it was the start of a run of about six months where we got the books four weeks before the rest of the world and I didn't want to jeopardise that run by having people complain to WotC.

Matt, one quick question: is there enough information in this book to actually run a campaign? (And I understand you have to provide the ruleset, of course.)

Cheers
D

NB: Please remember: A cannon is a big gun. Canon is what we discuss here.

Yes. There is more than enough to use in a campaign. Also, it is peppered with photos of Ed's original hand-written notes on the Realms. It's a great book for Realms fans.
