Is Adamantine metallic? So would a magnet stick to them and vice versa?

Yes and maybe. Adamantine is a metal, but not all metals are magnetic. Copper is, but silver is not, for example. Iron, steel, and tin are, but aluminum is not- you get the idea. Heavier metals usually are, so I'd say probably so in this case. |

Adamant, the pure metal from which adamantine is created, is ferromagnetic, so yes, a magnet would stick to it. Adamantine is an alloy, 5/8 adamant, 2/8 silver, 1/8 electrum. Silver, as noted, is not ferromagnetic, and I doubt electrum is, since it's an alloy of silver and gold. The description of adamantine doesn't say one way or another whether it is, but given those ratios, I'd say it's probably weakly ferromagnetic.
This is, of course, assuming both that alloys sort of average their magnetism, and that magical alloys do the same. I know zilch about RW metallurgy, so take all this with a grain of salt.

Adamant would have to be strongly magnetic like nickel or iron to make the whole alloy magnetic, that's how it is in RW |
