Karsus' Tower...

What is this place?

I have absolutely no clue what it is...but according to Markustay it is south and west of Westgate.

Can anyone enlighten me?

The Old Grey Box and AD&D for me!

This is from "The Temptation of Elminster" which is the absolute best lore-heavy look at Karsus in the extant published Realms IMHO. It appears that this ruined tower was one of Karsus' boltholes and raises many interesting questions about the 'spread' and 'reach' of the Netherese.
