It looks like they forgot to put the link there (or at least it doesn't show up to me)...

Except for the Spellscar thing (which I neither know nor care to look up), these are all fairly easy for anyone who has even minor knowledge of The Realms.

I can't seem to find the hints anywhere. Where are these? I've searched every link on the page and got zip.

Usually they end up on these pages:

-http://www.facebook.com/dungeonsanddragons
-https://twitter.com/wizards_dnd

The rewards for some weeks kinda sucked, even tho there were nice previews sometimes (like in the 5th).

PS: Hmm... I'd like if someone could explain me how to make links look nice and compact (i.e. making them show descriptive words instead of the URL).

There are two ways to learn:

1) Quote this comment, and look at how the link below is formatted. That was how I figured out how to do everything around here... I had no idea, for a long time, that we had a place where it was all explained!

2) Speaking of which, here's a link to where the various bits of coding are explained: Forum FAQ

Okay, finally all 3 clues are out.

1. Magical calamity that struck the world of Toril during the Year of Blue Fire.

2. Ancient Illuskan city delved by dwarven engineers of fabled Delzoun.

3. Matron Mother of the Menzoberranzan noble house whose members conceal their identities with veils or masks while in public.

And again... one uses a ' but the answer wouldn't accept it

3. Matron Mother Zeerith Q'Xorlarrin? I can't get this to work. What's the trick?

Just type QXorlarrin, because it won't accept apostrophes (it's clearly clueless about the fundamental rule that most fantasy names require them).

I realize the difficulty in mapping 3 dimensions, but what of the many stalactite castles said to hang from the cavern's ceiling?

And what of the many steeply inclined gable roofs? It seems to me that with no precipitation in the underdark, drow architecture would be very different than what we see on the surface.

Thanks, Irennan. I tried every variation of Zeerith Q'Xorlarrin I could think of. Strange that the Matron's actual name isn't used.

Well... iirc most references to Matron Mothers don't usually use their first name... they usually say "Matron Mother <House Name>" or "Matron <House Name>"... and I mentioned that on one of the clues a ' is used but isn't accepted in the answer >.> heh

Yes, please. I'm certain one of these rewards will be great.

And what of the many steeply inclined gable roofs? It seems to me that with no precipitation in the underdark, drow architecture would be very different than what we see on the surface.

A) Most of their architecture is based on what they did when they were on the surface. To humans this may seem far-fetched, given the number of centuries, but these are elves we are talking about, so their styles/trends take much longer to change. Given where they came from - the deep south - I assume they had to deal with large amounts of rainfall when they lived in the light above.

B) Stalactites drip, plus bat-guano, lizards crawling on ceilings, etc, - you really don't want a lot of stuff dripping onto and staying put on your roof.

C) Flat roofs invite intrusion. The greater the pitch of the roof, the more unlikely someone will be able to sneak in easily.

D) Drow are all Goths and it makes them feel kewl.
