I really really really like these novels. I thought Bob had completely run out of steam with the Ghost King and the saga of Drizzt had ended rather conclusively. However, the "rebooting" of the franchise with the death of Bruenor and the movement of Drizzt to "free agent" really made the stories more fresh.

Also, the whole fact that Drizzt is traveling with a CN/CE nutcase as well as Artemis Entreri is such a perfect group I can't wait to read more of it. I think they need to add a spellcaster and Jarlaxle to make the group perfect.

I will say the opening scene of the series and use of sexual violence did turn me off but, otherwise, I have very few complaints about the work. It's also nice to see the plans of Shades and Thayans go astray.
