Hello all I'm new around here,
Would anyone mind suggesting a FR book, a little more on the dark side.
I have read all the legend of Drizt and most of the Elminster books, and a few random other ones as well. looking for something a little darker or more geared towards adults.

Was thinking about the Haunted Lands series.

| The Erevis Cale books are rather popular with a lot of folks, and are darker books. Ditto for the War of the Spider Queen series. |

Definitely The Twilight War Trilogy by Paul S. Kemp and The Haunted Lands Trilogy by Richard Lee Byers. There are reviews on those novels here. And of course, you can check out the Book Club section. If you have specific things you want to know without stumbling upon some major spoilers, feel free to ask. |

Good suggestions all! And I'll go ahead and throw my name/books in the ring mostly because, well, I don't know how not to write dark. Blood, ghosts, nightmares, and bloody skulls...in that order actually.

One doesn't have to be Cale's fan to enjoy the trilogy, I guess. Riven and the others have as much screen time as Cale. Well, at least in Book 2 [the only one I read]. |

Well, I didn't enjoy the Erevis Cale trilogy, either. I'm very much in the minority, there. |

Try the Ed Greenwood Presents Waterdeep. I'm told they're quite enjoyable . . . even the one by that ridiculously tall de Bie guy.
