Didn't anybody else get Best of the Realms??

The new little Atemis and Jarlaxel story??

Well, I liked it. Jarlaxel is up to something again. Looks like a good set-up to the trilogy coming. :>)

Next time I come here, I'll expect a thread on "The Crimson Gold", and don't forget "The Sapphire Cresent" :>)

I picked this up just before I left Sydney for my plane trip home to Perth. I had intended to read that particular story on the flight home, but I ended up catching up on some sorely needed sleep. I'll try and get to it today, and post some thoughts tomorrow.

I just got this the other day as well and just started reading the Cunningham short story. Salvatore's new short story looks promising!

I'm going to have to be naughty and ask a spoiler question...

Does the new Salvatore short story take into account Entreri's new "shadow-self" he attained in Realms of Shadow?

My latest Realms-based short story, about a bard, a paladin of Lathander and the letter of the law, Debts Repaid. It takes place before the "shattering" and gives the bard Arion a last gasp before he plunges into the present.http://candlekeep.com/campaign/logs/log-debts.htm

Aye, but Salvatore only briefly mentions this "condition". Apparently, his skin has turned a dusky grayish hue.

Overall, the story was extremely short and well...to the point. What happens when Entreri and Jarlaxle find themselves stricken with boredom and nothing to do but hassle the local highwaymen...
