Good afternoon everyone and happy Friday! Does anyone know if Scream of Stone is still available in paperback form? I looked on B&N and it is unavailable. I then checked online with Borders but the entire website has disappeared . I might have to explore ebay/amazon next. Thanks in advance.

Hmm. I didn't bother buying that novel. Reading books 1 and 2 of the series was such an unforgettable, excruciating experience. [I like Marek Rymut, though. It's not everyday you see a gay/bi Red Wizard, and an ingenious one at that].

But if you really want to read it, then see this.

You mean the demented Phyrea? Hah! She alone is annoying. She and Devorast put together was a complete disaster that awakened the "Hulk" in me.

Heh. Book 1 has so far BY FAR (like, miles & leagues) been my favorite Realms book. The Realms: something for everyone, obviously.

Obviously. I know others who enjoyed it. My own bestfriend, who is an eclectic reader, rather liked it.

I believe you'll have to go the Amazon/ebay route for this one. Though I do see on Amazon.ca that there is a new copy of a "library binding" of Scream Of Stone. Not sure what that's all about, and it apparently takes 1-2 months for delivery.

1-2 months for delivery? I thought the Pony Express went out of business.

Agreed.

I had a hard time getting through those books as well. I will often re-read novels that I have read in the past, but I have no intention of re-reading that trilogy in the foreseeable future.
