Hello. New to the forums but a long time lurker.

Figured this is the perfect place to ask.

I'm looking for several books where some specific FR events took place.

-The Fall of Netheral.
-The Fall of Myth Drannor.
-More information of Larloch
-Laeral gets influenced by the Crown of Horns.

Thank you.

Currently reading: Spider and Stone by Jaleigh Johnson: Sequel to Mistshore

The Fall of Myth Drannor, which is a companion book to the Cormanthyr book from 2e, pretty much explains everything about the Fall of Myth Drannor. :)

Lost Empires of Faerun, from 3e/3.5e, could help with almost all four of those questions though. It has info about Netheril, Myth Drannor, Larloch since he came from Netheril, and I think even the NPC who created the Crown of Horns.

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Volo's Guide to All Things Magical has a section on the Crown of Horns:

"Created by Myrkul, the Crown of Horns was lost for centuries after the dissolution of the Netherese Empire until found by Laeral Silverhand and the Nine. Donning the Corwn, Laeral fell under its influence swifly, and she attacked former friends and allies, including the Harpers."

It goes on to tell about the spell battle between Khelben and Laeral and how he came to fall for her, and also the powers of the Crown in its old and current forms.

Dangerous Games, Book 2 of the Netheril trilogy by Clayton Emery. [I recommend you read the whole series.]

There's not a Novel in which this occurs?
Some of the oldest FR books I've read have them already together.

No prob. It's out of print. So you will likely find it in used bookstores. Or you can order online.

AFAIK there is no novel written about Laeral and her adventures with the 9 and going crazy and rescue by Khelben and their courtship. It would be great, I would LOVE to read about it. Unlikely now we're in the crummy land of 4th edition. Bits and pieces of older Laeral/Khelben are taken from Elminster's memories in Elminster in Hell, and a few other blurbs mention parts of it in various novels, but I think they got together before Spellfire was written, which was Ed's first FR novel. I would need to dig out my Grand History of the Realms to get the exact dates but probably the scribes here know.

There are a few references to the Crown of Horns in the novel Blackstaff by Steven Schend.

Every beginning has an end.
