Unbroken Chain: The Darker Road is unavailable for pre-order on www.amazon.co.uk This has never happened before I hope that when we reach the publication date it will appear as a book that can be ordered, otherwise who know's how I will be able to get a copy as new Forgotten Realms books are not available in UK bookstores

It is now available to order from Amazon.co.uk and from private sellers on Amazon. I believe they may have got confused with the similar title to the first book in the series. Hope you enjoy the book.

Forgotten Realms books can also be found at Forbidden Planet shops in the UK if their are any near you.

What did you (or anyone else who has read it) think of it?

I felt that it was a fantastic book, albeit slightly slower paced than the previous book in the series. There was a lot of personal development for the characters and potential new plot lines inserted. The main characters of Ashok and Ilvani are superbly written and their interactions make for interesting reading.

Hopefully there will be a third book in the series soon to make use of the potential plot lines in this book.

Hmm... I did think that it was good and very much liked the references to the events in Horselords (book 1 of the Empires trilogy), a book published in the early 1990s, regarding the invasion of Yamun Kahn.
