Hey all.

I am currently taking my party to Baldur's Gate.. and I am trying to plan the layout of the city and the location of what their after while at work.

I have the Lands of Intrigue Box Set and the FRCS 3e; am I missing any good resource for the layout and history of the city? And if so, is there a websource on it I could research while stuck behind this desk?

Thanks for all the help.

Still rockin' the Fey'ri style.

Try and get the 2E Book Forgotten Realms Adventures. Has info and a map of Baldur's Gate. It's not a great map, but it's a map...

"These things also I have observed: that knowledge of our world is
to be nurtured like a precious flower, for it is the most precious
thing we have. Wherefore guard the word written and heed
words unwritten and set them down ere they fade . . . Learn
then, well, the arts of reading, writing, and listening true, and they
will lead you to the greatest art of all: understanding."

Volo's Guide to the Sword Coast

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Razz, Ed's provided some intriguing tidbits about Baldur's Gate in his replies here at Candlekeep over the years. You may want to search the archives as well.
