After searching the Keep for the last couple hours, as well as searching the internet as a whole for the last few days, I thought it might be a good idea to see if any of you could help me locate a "song" referenced in the TSR supplement, "Cloak and Dagger".
In the very beginning of the segment featuring the Shadow Thieves, the song "The Kiss of Steel in Darkness" by Fandar Alabon is mentioned. When I was reminded of it a few days ago, my curiosity was piqued, and I set out to find any sort of official lyric, or another mention of the song. I've seen that Candlekeep has a wide collection of poems, songs, and books that exist in the Realms, but I haven't been able to locate this bloody elusive piece.
If anyone knows of a location where an official lyric exists (and I'm hoping I didn't just completely miss it on the site!), I'd be extremely grateful, and the subject will finally stop bothering me! >_<

Bran thought about it. "Can a man still be brave if he's afraid?"
"That is the only time a man can be brave," his father told him.

Now that I'm looking at it, it's likely that the "Kiss of Steel in Darkness" is a line from a song, due to context. Still however, I couldn't find anything by "Fandar Alabon". I'll pose the question to Steven or one of the others regardless! |
