The WotC are continuing their purge policy. The 3.5 Archives, which were working fine this morning, got deleted/taken down today. Entirely, which means about 8 years' worth of articles full of Realmslore have disappeared.
I just discovered the fact because a friend pointed to me that the link I sent him does not work.
Arggg! I'm mad! Half-Fiendish Variety gone! All Web Enhancements gone! Everything!

Indeed... As I pointed out when the Previous Edition Downloads page disappeared (and many times before that), WotC doesn't seem to ever remove content from their site -- they just take away or relocate the links leading to it. |

Wow! I really freaked out when I saw this! I took a long break from DnD, so never down-loaded a lot of this material! Never even thought about it, really! Better get it all before it's gone for good, eh? |

This is why we need to put these links in our sigs.
At least the current versions...
I had the same knee jerk reaction a few months back. |

I have this link bookmarked and it still appears to be there. |

I can still get to the Realmslore, the Retired, Waterdeep News, Return to Undermountain, Class Chronicles, Border Kingdoms, and News articles.
Ashe I will add this to my scroll about this same topic... |

I'm glad, now, that I saved most of the more relevant material from that portion of the Wizards website, to my own archives. At least that's easy to find. Most of the time. |

I repeat: The files didn't get deleted and I doubt that they ever will. I may be wrong but Wizards can do AT LEAST that much for us, 3.5 edition gamers. |

Weird. None of the links (to 3.5 archives as a whole or to the Half-Fiendish Variety) worked yesterday evening. But thanks to all who clarified the situation. Let's hope it all stays on. |

I was referring to the fact that for those unfamiliar with the new links, that the files would be more difficult to find. That's why I'm glad I saved them to my archives.
