Looking for racial abilities/level adjustment (if any) for a full elf who is half moon, half drow - can someone please help? Thanks!

I'd give it a =1 LA, and take off the Dancing Lights and reduce the SR. Reduce the darkvision by half, and that should do it.

I think a full-blooded elf that mates with a Drow normally produces either elven or drow offspring. While they have physical characteristics that might pull from both parents, the drow traits are usually dominant.

For an example, in The Orc King...[SPOILER]

Drizzt talks to a drow that has be-friended the Moon elves of the Moonwood and takes a female moon elf cleric of Corellon as his mate. They have a few kids and I believe their either drow or elf, not a mixture of the two.

So in your case I'd either do one or the other (there are "lesser Drow" traits in the back of the PGtF) and not worry too much about mechanics. Though I'd flavor it any way you saw fit.

I always pictured them looking much like any half-drow would, appearance-wise. As for mechanics, I basically used a homw-brew version of the "lesser drow" template you mentioned, Diffan. But it could easily be done as one or the other, as well. I just thought it made them more interesting that way... People would still know they were part drow, but they might have less stigma than an actual drow.

Thanks for the info, Alystra & Diffan!

i was not aware of the "lesser drow" variant - i'll probably build upon that.

In my very first Realms game, one of my player's wanted to play one of these, and so I just had them use the Moon elf stats, swapped low-light vision for darkvision 60 ft, and changed the skin and hair color to drow colors (since in Evermeet Elaine made it apparent that drow coloration was the dominant gene).
