Ok for those who read when I said I was leaving the Keep, I was lying. I'm sorry and I will accept your beatings. (Especially yours madam Hoodie). I just can't stay away from this place. With the edition wars its just gotten more entertaining, especially for those who stay in the nosebleed seats drinking and eating. Anyway......
I thought that I once seen the particular duelist class that Mentor Wintercloak was. Can anybody track this down for me?

If it was 3.5, the Duelist is a prestige class from the DMG. |

Yes, I know. But, there are 4 types of Duelist from older editions. I can't find any record of which duelist type he is. was hoping somebody had something I haven't seen. I have devoured CEoE and FoMD and didn't see any clarification. |

He's a 4th level priest of Oghma and a 15th level wizard. It's at the back of FoMD.

Yeah, I saw that George. Does this mean that he only followed the rules for duelists in 2nd ed but not really be a duelist in class? |

Sorry, I'm a bit confused by your question. Are you wondering whether he's a dual-classed NPC or a duelist NPC class (as found in Dragon Magazine)? I think he's a classic dual-classed creation. In other words, he started off as a priest, got to 5th level and then became a wizard. Is that the info you are after?

I think there is confusion about the words "Duelist" and "Dualist" going on here.
The fella had two classes...thus Dualist.
He was not someone who had a class based upon Dueling...thus a Duelist. |

Well, there was 'elven dualist' class in C:EoE... maybe that's the source of confusion? |
