Oh, it's not like that. I usually do, but I'm just not anywhere near that computer at the moment. |

Every time she pops up, I invite her to actually stick around... She has thus far declined to do so. |

That would seem to be the tradition. But the Lady K has promised that she'll visit again sometime this weekend. And unlike the promises made by myself, she usually tends to keep them. |

Sage... about that to-do list... this one might be part of Alaundo's list, but...
Compiling Ed's Candlekeep replies into the quarterly "So Saith Ed" scrolls for Q2 2008 and following?
That's all that comes to my mind immediately... oh, and that fragmentary Cormyr lineage I assembled based on lore from the GHotR and the OGB... I believe I sent you the final version that was made presentable (in fact, frameable) by Ashe Ravenheart? It would be nice to see that on the Downloads page, given that the complete Lineage seems destined to thwart the best efforts of both Ed and Brian Cortijo to get it published...
Edit: Oh, and I should let you know, you're not alone... my to-do list is steadily growing as well, much of it Realms-related... although many of the tasks I've set for myself are individually of epic proportions to begin with. Off I go to see about accomplishing something... |
Playing in the Realms since the Old Grey Box (1987)... and *still* having fun with material published before 2008, despite the NDA'd lore.
If it's comparable in power with non-magical abilities, it's not magic. |

Actually, my compilation files are up-to-date -- as of September 2010. They just haven't been uploaded to the site.

Ah, yes. Forgot about that one. Thanks Jakk. |

May I add something to the list? Sage, a few weeks ago, I had offered to assist you with your bardic lore project for the Keep, and you said you'd send some of the lore my way to work up. I'm still waiting for a PM or e-mail to get started, along with some sense of what you need accomplished on that "score". Since I know your musical project is a priority and undoubtedly huge, the sooner I see what I'm up against, the sooner I can dive in! (Especially with the lyrics- that part may take the most time.) |

So...can we add to your To Do list?
Or is that bad form?
I've compiled about one hundred new words from Ed's Eye on the Realms articles and posted them as responses to the Glossary of Phrases, Sayings & Words of the Realms scroll.
Any chance you might look at one of the already posted responses per week and maybe fold its contents into the glossary proper, then leave a note in the post you drew from so we know it's been added?
I'd happily do the work for you, but I doubt there's a work around that would allow me access to the glossary (only) to make the additions. |

That sounds like something I'd want to bump up on my list. Indeed, I will tackle this.
Would you like me to start with the first of your entries? |

Yes, please and thank you.
I'll only ask that you avoid the entries that say "Note to Sage: still working on mining words from this book." |

Sage,
Only to remember you about my request related to non-magical books of the Realms:
quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Originally posted by Barastir

Not that I can recall. Just other scattered references which I've slowly been compiling as an addition to the "Candlekeep Collection."
I'll cite Steven Schend's Blackstaff books, for example, which both include many references to Realmsian non-magical books. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you, Sage. I already expected it to be this way. Can you share those references you've already found? I intend to post here the names of the books I eventually find, if it's not a problem.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I can, and I will. I'm still waiting on Steven Schend to provide me with the final listing of books that were cut from his novels. |

I apologise, Barastir, for overlooking this.
I'll bump it up to the top of my [now] secondary and temporary "To-Do" List. |
