According to the Grand History of the Realms The city of Yulash fell to civil war and was likely destroyed in 1355 DR but by the Second Banedeath in 1368 it was considered important enough to actually send Cyricist clergy there as part of the Second Banedeath. So I assume some sort of rebuilding was done by Zhentil Keep forces.
Where could I find canon information on Yulash. I'm considering writing a small story or two and I'm somewhat at a loss on where to find said information.

Thankful for any help you can provide.

Yűlash was one of the settings in the FRC2-Curse of the Azure Bonds adventure (set just before the Time of Troubles, and after its destruction in 1355 DR), which was updated to 1368 DR standards in the 2E supplement The Moonsea.
The best description of Yulash was provided by another scribe here at the 'Keep... but the precise scribe in question eludes me. It may have been Markustay who compared Yulash (quite aptly, I think) to Osgiliath in The Two Towers and during the War of the Ring more generally. It's a city still mostly in ruins and (for a time, at least) still hotly contested between the Zhents and the forces of Hillsfar. It's been a while since I read Mysteries of the Moonsea and I don't recall if that 3.5 supplement had any updates on the city's condition.
Playing in the Realms since the Old Grey Box (1987)... and *still* having fun with material published before 2008, despite the NDA'd lore.
If it's comparable in power with non-magical abilities, it's not magic.
For the conflict, see Ruins of Zhentil Keep. Yűlash gets progressively demolished over decades, and not rebuilt outside of the fortifications, but it remains a military outpost of Zhentil Keep where politicking goes on among the various Zhent factions.
