Im reading about the note, on page 289 in FRCS and im just wondering how one increase hit points, Hit Dice and saves above level 20. This does not realy seem possible!

I have always used the rules from Epic Level Handbook where one just progress above level 20 with out the class saves and attack bonus!

Now could someone please explaine these rules to me, cause im slow!

thx

At every level (lvl 20+) you gain Hit Points as the epic class dictates. Using 3.5, the Wizard would gain d4 for an example. Their BAB increases at a rate of +1/+1/+2/+2/+3/+3/etc.... and the Save progression is +0/+1/+1/+2/+2/etc...regardless of previous class progressions.

Additionally, each class receives special bonuses and ability that are dictated by the Epic level progression. Feats are gained as they normally would be at every 3 levels (21, 24, 27, 30th, etc).

Your confusing is easy to explain.

The 3.0 Campagin guide for FR was made BEFORE epic rules were made. So they likely did some things a little different then what's offical.

Most of the epic level characters were revamped in the epic level handbook to be offical epic level characters.

Are the "The Level Handbook" the official rules for epic characters in Forgotten Realms?

As far as I know, yes. I don't see why FR characters would be given different or special treatment just because it's a different setting. Also, the character stats in the FRCS are innaccurate due to the edition change of 3.5.

Yes they are. Again, remember, the latest edition trumps earlier. The epic characters in FRCS was made before EPIC, and they changed how epic were when they made epic level handbook rules. The epic handbooks have most of the characters from frcs.
The bok itself is STILL 3.0, however it's easy to see what they wanted.

The FR epics they state are
Elminster
Storm Silverhand
Gertl Orelsdottr
Halastar
The Simbul
Szass Tam
Khelben Blackstaff
Alustriel
Manshoon
Iyraclea (the famous ice cleric of Auril)
and finally, the chosen of Gilgeam himself, Shuruppak.
