I've been trying to convert some of the older races of the Realms to 4e. Let me know what you think

Racial Traits Average Height: 7’–7’4” Average Weight: 480–520 lb.
Ability Scores: +4 Strength Size: Medium Speed: 6 squares Vision: Darkvision
Languages: Common, Loxo Skill Bonuses: +2 Nature, +2 Perception Loxo Trunks: Your unarmed attack deals 1d6 damage. Berserker Rage: You can use berserker rage as an encounter power. Trample: You can use trample as an encounter power.
Berserker Rage Racial Power Encounter Immediate Reaction Personal Trigger: You see a clan member getting killed or incapacitated. Effect: Until the end of the encounter you gain a +2 bonus to attacks and damage.
Trample Racial Power Encounter Standard Melee Effect: You can move up to your speed and enter enemies’ spaces. This movement provokes opportunity attacks, and you must end your move in an unoccupied space. When you enter an enemy’s space, you make a trample attack; Strength +2 vs. Reflex; 1d6 + Strength damage, and the target is knocked prone. Level 11: +4 bonus and 2d6 + Strength damage. Level 21: +6 bonus and 3d6 + Strength damage. |

Mantis Lunge Racial Power Encounter Standard Action Melee 1 Requirement: All hands need to be free and no items are held. Targets: One to four creatures Attack: Strength vs. AC, four attacks Hit: 1d4 + Strength damage per attack. Level 11: 1d6 + Strength damage per attack. Level 21: 1d8 + Strength damage per attack.

Looking at it, the Loxo might be just slightly over-powered with it's two racial encounter powers. Same with the Kreen, that encounter power is pretty nasty.

For the Loxo I know how you can limit its power with the 2 encounter powers. You could have it be that you use one or the other and when one is used, you can't use the other one (like channel divinity)....and I would create a feat for them that allows them to use both in the same encouter 
My brother used a Loxo in one 3.5E adventure we ran, he was a beast. |

I was thinking about that too. 4e Drow also have 2 powers and can only use one. |

I was thinking about that too. 4e Drow also have 2 powers and can only use one.
Thanks. I knew there was a race who had that but I wasn't sure if it was the Drow (don't have my books handy). But yeah, its exaclty what I was thinking of (I believe they also have a feat that allows the use of both in one encounter). |
