When Szass Tam used a magical window to see what happened to the Shadow Weave during the Spellplague, he saw that it was as destroyed as the Weave itself. If that is so, we should have seen some "obvious signs" of damage to the Shadovar and the Shade Enclave, who rely so much on the Shadow Weave? For one, maybe the Enclave suddenly plummeting to the ground as what happened to the Old Netheril (though I must admit I wouldn't want that to happen)? Or did Shar, who favor the Shadovar, pour some divine power to the mythallar to save Shade Enclave?
Moreover, it was during the Spellplague that the Shadovar managed to wipe out Zhentil Keep. How did they do it when they should have been significantly enervated as a direct result of the Shadow Weave's destruction?

I cannot speak to the effects of the shadow weave's collapse upon Shade Enclave and its inhabitants, though I'm sure they were significant.
One correction though: Zhentil Keep was razed by the Netherese just prior to the Spellplague (in 1383 DR) |

| Thanks Brian R. James for your reply. I hope Wizards will publish more books concerning the spellplague, especially its effects to the realm's most loved characters. |

I think you'll find that such further info will likely only come from the pages of either DRAGON and/or DUNGEON -- via the DDI. Or the novels.
No future Realms sourcebooks are planned. |

The Sage,
Paul confirmed that Rivalen will be appearing in Godborn. So maybe he will give some details of the spellplague's effects to the Shadovar. Isn't that exciting?! |

Yes. Though it means I'll probably have to catch up on my Cale reading, since I've fallen way behind with these books.
i'm NOT really a cale fan. in fact i only read book 2 of the cale trilogy. i like vosthym and riven, though... i read the twilight war primarily because of the Shadovar, not because of cale...

Just as long as you read them, that's all that matters! |

What Brian's saying is that there are no print products currently planned. There's a lot of DDI Realms stuff, and the novels keep coming out (at least 1/month). Also that doesn't mean there won't be more in the future, either--only time will tell.

So far as I know, it's not in a novel -- just a line or two in the FRCG saying it happened. |

I think it would make for a good book though. We dont have that many realms books which feature such large scale battles after all. I am getting excited just thinking about it. |

I was given the impression it was not exactly a battle but more of a mass slaughter, probably akin to what the Shadovar did to the poor, manipulated Saerloonians who attacked Selgaunt, albeit more mercilessly.
(Oh, this thread is more than three years old . . . when I was still a few days “young” here at the ‘Keep.) |

Since 3E came out, there are a lot of things that were only covered in sourcebooks, and even there only had a line or two. A lot of people have expressed an interest in seeing novels on some of these things |
