That is right! I am Canadian and I am posting from my refurnished, deluxe Igloo. *Swats at the near by penguin.
Anyway, does anyone live up north in Canada? Maybe in Ontario? Maybe in city called Belleville?

Sallabasha if you are swatting at penguins you better check on a map where you live...
Penguins live in Antartica. They do not live in the North. But maybe some lonely Canadian imported a Penguin or two.
I wish I lived in an Igloo. I wouldn't have to worry about my house burning down then. Hmmmm.... But I would have to worry about everything getting VERY VERY wet if a fire started.

We stole... eh, borrowed them. I mean why should Antartica get all the penguins?

Even if it's flightless?
Interesting animal, anyway, since it's really the only thing larger than an insect that can survive the open weather on that continent. At least without an industrial-strength parka, space heaters, and the occational air lift.
Plus, I believe it's the only bird fully adapted to water, isn't it? I'm sure Mournblade will know . . . .
On to the topic. I know there are at least two other Canadians here. Unfortunately, I can't seem to manipulate the Members pages. All I can see is page one . . . . (My computer's going screwy on me. I might have another virus. I can't copy/cut-and-paste, I can't use the "open in new window" function, and the drop-down menus for going through pages won't work.)
However, if you go to the page and click on "country" it will list all members by that category, assuming they've chosen to divulge it. |

If it's true, all countrys need a representative animal, here we don't need search a animal, the Brazilian animal is a parrot! I think from Canada you need a bird too, for Brazil a parrot, for U.S. a eagle, for France a chicken etc. I think a duck is a good animal. |

Okay, I was wrong, to France, not a chicken, to France, a rooster. I've thinking, to Canada, you can use a bear. Here, the brazilian "neighboors"(specially Argentina) are called "el cucarachas" or in english "the cockroaches"... |

No difference. A rooster is a male chicken.
I'd think of them as a wild boar. Not because of any military prowess (which they used to have; best land forces in their day) or because of any facial features or anything derogatory. No, it's just because I've read Asterix so much. |

Okay, I agree, the right animal to France is wild boar. I've thinking some animals to some countries, to Brazil I change idea, I think that the guara wolf(Lobo Guara) is the "right animal". To U.S., of course a Eagle, to Argentina a cockroach, to Canada a bear, to Mexico a Jaguar, to Spain a taur, to China and to its "neighboors", of course, asiatic tigers, and there are a lot of other countries in my list... |

That will probably work but you might consider something other than a cockroach for Argentina. |

It's because we, brazilians, and our "neighboors" of Argentina are like "old friends". What is wrong with a cockroach? |

What is wrong with a cockroach? I hate them thats all, like the fly or mosquito they are a disease carrying insect and were it in my power I would destroy them all. |

I hate it too, because it I call the argentinians cockroaches, I don't have preconcept, but argentinians are like "rivals" of we, brazilians. It's funny, we call them "cucarachas"(cockroaches) and they call us "maquaquitos"(little monkeys). It's because in football and other things we're like rivals. Do you understand? Will you destroy all argentinians? I don't disagree with you...

"I thought it was a wild pig."
Okay, a bull, I've thinking that was a taur. But, why a wild pig? I think to spain a bull because in spain the people like some "games" with bulls like "las toradas". And to portugal, spain's "neighboor", a "bacalhau"(a fish that I don't know its name in english) because the portugueses like to eat this fish.

Just a misunderstanding,I thought you were saying wild pig for Spain. I thought the Taur was a wild pig.I think Spain should be the Bull as you meant. |
